The really hot people will get exactly what they want.

They might value another trait.

The really rich people will get exactly what they want.

They too might value another trait.

The really powerful people will get exactly what they want.

etc.

The really (insert high value) people will get exactly what they want.

Everyone else has to deal with it. Some people will try their best to get mates of the top level of each, some will try to get to the top level to have the choice to get what they want. Some people follow religion. Some people arrange marriages for their children to try and beat the system.

The real kicker is that a person can change their opinion on something at random.

Just look at the real world and imagine it without the people who try to lie about their intentions/desires. I would say about 20% of people would change their lifestyles regarding the dating market but overall there will be no major shifts, other then a lot of divorces, emotional trauma and exchange of money.

I think that the people who are into casual sex and hookups would actually be the happiest because they would be able to find likeminded people. More sex, YAY!

Those looking for relationships might have a bit more trouble depending on their age/stage in life, since it's pretty common that younger people aren't looking for a serious relationship as much as older people.

In terms of people stating their desires, I feel like people with uncommon fetishes might have a really hard time outside fetish-oriented communities.

I also see racism becoming more common. Ex: "I don't want to date you because you're (insert race)."

People would probably need a much thicker skin as rejections would be more straightforward like "I don't want to date you because of your height/weight/looks/etc."

A nice plus side is that the "nice guys" in the "friend zone" would probably become less common as it'd be safer for women to flat out reject them, and women would know to avoid them since they were only interested in a relationship she didn't want. Then again, I've seen many a time where the "nice guy" has just been so incredibly dense that he can't take no for an answer.

All in all I think it'd be an interesting social experiment.

More men would lift. Less men would do women favors. I think the number of casual sex would go down.

A lot more men would go into violent hobbies like boxing, martial arts, etc. There would be more open acknowledgement of racism in dating preferences.

From the women's perspective, not a whole lot would change. Men are pretty easy to read: most of the time, we just want to have sex with you. We occasionally want a relationship, but that's also easy to read.

From the man's perspective, EVERYTHING would change. You'd see a lot of guys redpill up really fuckin' fast, due to a lot of this:

Previously BP man: "What are you looking for?"

Hot girl: "A nice, reliable guy who doesn't have a lot of options."

Cue the record needle skipping across the vinyl noise.

or,

Previous BP man: "What took you so long to get back to me?"

Hot girl: "I was caught in a whirlwind fling with my ex-drug-dealer. But how would you like to take me out and then not get sex for a few months?"

After one or two of those, even the most white-knighting, pussy-pedestaling, neck-beard-sporting m'lady machine will realize that female virtue is an illusion.

If people were more honest regarding their intentions then there would be less casual sex.

I'm not sure it's possible for people to be 100% honest about their desires, particularly women, because often they don't actually understand their desires.

Casual sex would plummet.

More "alpha" men would be honest about what they want initially, which means women would understand without any "hamstering" that men want the poon and maybe nothing more.

Recognizing that will potentially make her less likely to give it away, because she would now realize more than ever that in order to entice him into commitment (assuming that's what many women want) she needs to dangle the poon like a carrot stick.

Also "beta" men would be less likely to be "tricked" into sexless relationships/marriages, because the woman would be compelled to state upfront to him "I don't really find you sexually attractive."

This would result in more "beta" men either offing themselves OR going MGTOW OR making a concerted effort to become more attractive since women are telling them to their faces they aren't attractive.

Dating from my mid-late 20s up to my early 30s (where I am currently) has been overwhelmingly open and honest. I am open and honest about my own intentions because I don't want to waste time nor do I want whoever I am dating to waste time. And I would say that men I have dated have been similarly open and honest, the overwhelming majority have. A few have not but it has gotten much easier to sniff out, and I have gotten better at asking direct questions about what it is they are looking for.

There would be a lot more women in therapy. Think about it - in a world where everyone's honest about their intentions or desires, most men would be telling most women things like this:

"Yes, your ass does look fat in those jeans."

"I'm really interested only in fucking."

"I don't want a relationship with you at all. Just fucking."

"I'm breaking up with you because I found a hotter girl to fuck."

"I'm breaking up with you because I don't want to fuck you anymore."

"I can't stand to be around you because you treat me like shit and you act like a bitch."

"I'm staying married to you only for the kids. The minute the last one is out of high school, the divorce papers will be on file."

"I'm staying married to you because I don't want to pay you alimony and it will ruin both of us financially. God, I hope you cheat on me so I can divorce you."

The first thing I thought of was all the women over 30 having to admit that they wanted to marry and have a baby ASAP. It's already a ridiculous doublethink type situation that we all have to go round saying "Oh I don't mind, if it happens, it happens." Been there, thankfully not there any more!

Apart from that I was fairly honest- I wanted an honest, geek-leaning guy who was looking for a fun, easy-going lady. I don't understand all these posts saying men would lift more. Big muscles and lifting are completely off-putting!

This would absolutely revolutionize the dating market. Short, fat, ugly, asian/indian guys would finally be vindicated, and then focus more on the BB strategy or go complete MGTOW.

Women are so wrapped up in illusions that they actually cannot tell the difference between fantasy and reality, leading to feelings of self doubt after seeing an airbrushed, digitally enhanced model! While an average man can watch a film like 300 and understand the impact of dieting and lighting effects and thus be inspired to work out, an average woman will open any magazine and feel compelled towards anorexia or bulimia.
