First off, I'm going to say that for me manipulation and emotional abuse is not OK and the part of RP theory I disagree with the most. Perhaps for this reason I'll never be able to "game" my SO…whatever

The rest of "Red Nuke Antibiotic" I somewhat agree with.

I think that, for most of society, especially most women (and certainly for the younger women, especiallY the garden variety college age feminist) if RP was presented to them in a way which said "yup, women have high standards and sometimes demand unattainable ideals-and so they should!"

The reason for this imo is simple: modern Western feminism in America has called out misogyny in society as a social injustice while overlooking men's issues at best, ridiculing them as #firstworldproblems at worst. My take: neither misogyny nor misandry is OK.

Some examples of socially acceptable double standards (mostly anecdotal I'm afraid, some are attitudes from Cosmo mag)

  • If the man cheats, it's the man's fault for being unfaithful. If the woman cheats, it's the man's fault for being a loser and not upping his game [it is ridiculous how many young women my age try to justify their cheating]

  • If the man dumps her, it's the man's fault for being shallow, superficial, impatient and failing to see her inner beauty/awesomeness If the woman dumps him, she can do better than a nobody like him [look at varying approaches to breakups on dating sites]

  • If a man calls an overweight/obese woman out on her weight, e.g. saying he's not finding her as attractive, he's a shallow misogynistic pig and she should dump him for someone who respects her for who she is

If a woman calls a man out on his body, not necessarily an overweight or obese one just slightly tubby/skinny and not really doing it for her, how dare he fail to reach the Adonis ideal. As a man his first duty should be to man up, hit the gym and get shredded, if he doesn't he's lazy selfish and doesn't love her and she should dump his sorry ass. [source: Cosmo "You should feel physically attracted to your man". I laugh at the "it's not fair on him either" bit.]

For this reason male body image issues and eating disorders are regarded as a non-issue, sometimes a sign that he is latently homosexual (wtf?)

  • If a woman gropes a man, he's got a nice ass and he should feel complimented, if he feels uncomfortable he's insecure which is such a turn-off, and anyway he's come to a night-club with a nice ass, he's basically askiing for it

If a man gropes a woman, it's sexual harassment

[Neither should be OK]

  • If a woman is off work sick with fever, she needs some time-out before she burns herself out, and needs to go easy on herself

If a man is off work sick with fever, it's not fever it's man-flu, men these days are so pathetic

On a more extreme note, look at the treatment of men with mental health issues compared to women-mentally ill women have it hard but that is acknowledged. Men are treated as having a defect in character, personal weakness

  • If a woman has low self-esteem because she feels ugly, society is at fault for putting too much pressure on young women to look good-cf recent Dove campaign on Photoshopping-the right guy will see past that

If a man has low self-esteem because he feels ugly, someone's a bitter friend zone forveeralone 'Nice Guy', wow what a creep [I spent most of this year testing the theory on a student forum and got banned for it with the moderators telling me I need to be 'more positive' and 'not so open' on my next account]

  • If a woman feels she falls short of society's expectations, modern woman is expected to be Supergirl and place everyone-the system is corrupt, don't believe the media hype, we're only human!

If a man feels he falls short of society's expectations he's obviously a bitter lazy slob who wants to sit around p[laying video games all day. Might I suggest he goes and lifts some heavy ** up to grow back his balls? Somebody needs to get a grip and grow up.** [Red Pill Antiotic Nuke; personal experience of feminist friend mocking men's problems on her Facebook]

  • If a woman needs a shoulder to cry on after a hard day, everyone's human and any good boyfriend would be the first to reassure her

If a man needs a shoulder to cry on after a hard day/week/year, that's no man it's a man-child, DTMFA and let him grow up. Exception: 2-4 week grieving allowance for recent dead parents…at girlfriend's discretion [double standard in my previous r'ship]

  • The majority of adored male feminists are Alphas-look at the guys backing HeForShe. Ryan Gosling, Tom Hiddleston-would there be such an overwhelming response if this was Joe Bloggs? [see also Tumblr feminism]

  • To call a woman out as "slut" for sleeping around is misogyny of the highest order; whereas a male virgin is a loser

  • The very fact that I type this out classifies me as whiney "beta" to most p[eople (esp. women)-I believe this is where TRP fails, by making the subreddit it indirectly complains about the situation. This is before the manipulative PUA tactics recommended which are never going to be promoted in mainstream society.

  • The vulnerability issue which I discussed in my last post

I personally believe that if SMV, the 'alpha-beta' hierarchy was framed in a way which made it a necessary vil for men to face as a test of character, but any attempt for men to have standards in women as flagrant misogyny and desperation-college feminists would love this

To clarify I don't think misogyny is cool, I do think a lot of modern Western feminism has become misandrist though. Or NAWALT, but pretty much all of society is indeed like that. Also, I think this is especially an issue for younger people (teens/20s), and the double standards become more subtle and nuanced into the 30s and 40s.

Both pills respond!
