A list of the ways to reduce endocrine disruptors would be incredibly useful. This video deserves a proper write up.

This guy's presentation skills and mannerisms make it obvious that he looks after his testosterone.

He's basically saying that endocrine disruptors ( which decrease your testosterone levels, and your kids', and your kids' kids') is found in every person at highly interested reacted compared to even a free years ago, and it's rising.

Your drinking water contains loads because of birth control in women which is poised out and then recycled to new drinking water. Then we have orig bottles, plastic food packaging, shower gels, shampoos, deodorants, cuffed washing thatbc contain it.

I've gone and bought a charcoal filters for my water, trekking me that I'm drinking birth control of is a hell of a way to make someone take action.

Fully recommend watching the video, it's worth your 40 minutes if it affects your remaining xx years so dramatically

Problem

testosterone disruptors are rife in everyday goods - from plastic bottles (milk, water), thermal paper on receipts to birth control and pesticides entering the water system.

All in all there has been a significant drop worldwide in testosterone in men. US water treatment facilities do not adequately filter many of the disruptors.

The EPA has failed to ban many known disruptors and there is inadequate research on many materials that may be disruptive.

Why does it matter?

Testosterone levels correlate with stamina, motivation and capability, sperm counts. Low testosterone makes people drowsy and feel fucked up.

Solution

Reducing exposure to testosterone disruptors:

Eat and drink healthily.

Grass fed meats, fresh vegetables, eat out less, use a charcoal water filter, stainless steel bottles. Avoid soy as it is highly processed in the usa and whole grains.

Milk is a contentious one as the cows are likely on high estrogen feed and the plastic bottles likely leech out testosterone disruptors.

Avoid plastics even food storage plastics can be bad, use safer healthcare and hygiene products.

Must look beyond basic nutritional information.

Several apps let you scan grocery bar codes to see potentially impactful ingredients. Rule of thumb is don't buy it if you can't pronounce the words in the ingredients listings. Many food colorings are disruptors.

Also can seek new medical therapies that aim to naturally facilitate an increase in testosterone.

All of this is making me consider using testosterone. Busting my ass off in the gym and trying to eat right but I feel like everything around me, the system, is pushing me and all other men in the opposite direction.

The only testosterone mimicking chemicals I know seem a bit and miss unless I’m mistaken eg horny goat weed and ashwaganda.

It seems that the only real solution is to supplement yourself with testosterone. No amount of 'fixing' is going to bring you to the level you need to be at. If test really is dropping year by year since industrialisation, we need to be at supra-physiological levels just to be at whats normal for somebody pre civilization days.

People looking to raise their levels naturally should give this page a read link . It's not really back by any real substance, but the author shares their results and it seems to echo a lot of what is being said in this thread. I've been experimenting with it myself, but have yet to order a blood test to see if it's had any effect on myself. I did have a blood test done before starting that showed my levels were similar to the authors when he started his experiment.

I think there are two HUGE factors being left out. 1. More men with lower testosterone reproducing, specially due to women using birth control 2. The fact that our bodies don’t really have the need to produce that much testosterone to keep us alive anymore

Happy to say I just got my blood tests back and my score was 31 nmol /l which is on the high side of things.

I'm 34 and I found trp about 4 years ago. Immediately started lifting and working on not being a supplicating little bitch and all I can say is....

Fucked me shit up on gear a few years back and ever been the same. Been taking clomid for a few weeks to fix it up. Libido now exists but I'm not there yet.

Infrared light therapy seems pretty plausible based on the research. Increases LH and FSH pretty significantly and increases leydig cell sensitivity, meaning that more Testosterone will be produced from your LH.

Gonna be shining it on my balls for 20 mins a day from tomorrow, which is also my last day of clomid. Bloods getting redone on Friday

Over the years it really accumualtes as the body endures stress from outside factors.

Also good point to note is that so much more is coated with plastic, BPA being one of the main endocrine disruptors.

Coke cans? Plastic lining. Takeaway coffee? Plastic lining.

My 2 cents on the topic is to not let the thought rule you, you cannot avoid plastic etc entirely. Focus on vegetables and removing as much processed food as possible. It takes time to built the habit. Excess sugar and fats will kill you before low test levels that is for sure.

Don't buy bottled water for fuck sake, simple.
