Meh, I've met dozens of interesting men and fuck all interesting women. Women's hobbies are mostly made up of buying things and their own appearance.

Tesla, Einstein, da vinci, Aristotle, Ali, Galileo, Genghis khan, Alexander the great, Marx, Caesar, Socrates, Plato, Shakespeare, Darwin, Martin Luther king, Mozart, Aristotle etc all the most interesting and influential people of all time have been men. A lot of people pretty much have given up on life. Not exactly gender-specific, although there might be specific forms of it, that are more prevalent with any given gender. Does it really change that much, if it's gaming or shopping or... lots of stuff you can put there. It's all escapism and I have some empathy for it. By and large, we managed to become richer as societies while depraving the individual experience. No small feat. In a way, OP is victim-blaming. Probably doesn't make unwashed gamer dick any sexier, but the same is true for shopping-exhausted starfish. We're looking at joyless existences and their dysfunctional attempts to help themselves to some dopamine hit. Any, really. On both sides. It's not pretty.

I'd say it's a certain kind of woman who can only get this kind of guy. I'd say she needs to work on herself a little so she can attract more worthwhile guys. Perhaps lose some weight or work on finding more mature dudes.

I always assumed that any work that is dangerous or disgusting is man work and never thought twice about assuming responsibility for it. I think it's a pretty regular ass pairing where the man does trash,auto, and pet duties.

Also when there is an unexpected knock, man work.

While most people (male and females) don't have much to offer to a relationship, I see more males then females pursuing and being interested in worthwhile efforts:

Careers. This should be #1 for everyone, pursuing a worthwhile career not a job that's a dead-end
Interesting hobbies: just look at the related subs, they are mostly populated by guys.

The vast majority of women are into gossips, fashion (brand slaves) and makeup.

I can move a fridge, fix a leaking/clogged sink, and power-up a vibrator to new, previously unimaginable performance. The sink keeps being the biggest mystery for me - I'm SURE that the vast majority of women are physically capable of fixing it, and yet, almost all of them will just wait for a man to fix it for them. It's like they hate seeing slimy balls of their own tangled hair pulled out of the trap.

You're probably right to a degree on most of this for many guys but video games aren't a "real" hobby? WTF kind of statement is that. Yes they are. Hobby definition is: an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure. Sounds like video games to me. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they aren't a hobby. And you realize that most men under 40 now literally grew up playing video games right? Get over it. Men play them. That being said, again, many guys just do video games and not much else, which is a shame.

This is actually hilarious. Clearly an attempt at a "gender flip" except it actually doesn't work, proving that women actually don't have hobbies and are only good for sex.

Anyways, vidia is the most common male hobby for sure, outside of jacking off. But almost the entirety of the hobbyscape is men and men's hobbies. They're too innumerable to even list here.

What "real" hobbies are you even talking about?

Working on cars? Playing an instrument?

(I assume you will talk about social things, like dancing, going conventions etc)

Some do, this is why I'm mostly attracted to and involved with men with lots of physical ability, practical skills, in the trades and handy skills, etc.. He saves me money on mechanics, electronic repairs, and other shit I don't bother with if I ever had problems. I'm a fixer myself, but I rather keep my manicure intact if I can, plus my job is mostly pushing paperwork so I wanted a man to compliment that. In my experience most of these males with brainy jobs are not that physically fit and useless around the house, etc. It's very rare to find one that does anything other than sit, look and fiddle with computers nowadays. If you're lucky he'll catch trout on the weekend.

Developed this preference for "handy men" when I saw how my dad saved my mother hundreds and thousands of dollars on home improvement/mechanic repair while also enhancing the value of the house - there is nothing sexier than a handy man.
