In January I fortunately invested in a home gym setup. Power rack, plates, barbell, attachments, etc, the whole deal. So, I’m gonna chill, lift weights, eat the meat from my butcherbox, study the sock market and invest, and use this time to get better in all things red pill (minus women). Since it’s so volatile I’ve been trying to stay as up to date with the news as possible. For example, on Friday BNTX closes at $30 a share. News comes out they are close to developing a vaccine, boom they’re up to over $70 as of today according to robinhood and td ameritrade.

People say what they will, but once I got through the humor I’ve been learning a ton from “wallstreetbets” on Reddit (this reply was originally removed when I directly linked the sub) although a lot of guys there are really into options, and as a novice I am more interested in securing some solid stocks in companies that will most likely rebound in a year/few years.

Don't get me wrong, it's pretty frustrating not being able to go to social events and practice game, but in a weird way I think this will be a good test for me (provided no one I care about gets sick):

  • I've already been off porn for over a month. Now it's going to be a real test of willpower.

  • I'm anything but a stoner, but I occasionally enjoy tripping acid once every few months. My dealer had already ghosted me before shit hit the fan, so I had considered just giving it up. Now I know I'm giving it up.

I live in a high rise with a clubhouse gym for residents only. That gym is now closed due to corona, so I have been doing calisthenics at home. I don’t have any weights at home but I’m now looking into getting them.

Due to corona monkmode, I’ve been reading more and trading more stocks. For entertainment I’ve been spending more time in VR exploring a few titles I bought months ago but haven’t yet tried. There’s been a surge in VR users due to corona, which is making it a fantastic multiplayer social platform for some. VR cinemas playing current box office movies (need to pay) and multiplayer sport stadiums have been terrific - I do get a decent cardio work out in those playing VR table tennis with live opponents from around the world with voice chat.

Most important I’ve been cleaning up my apartment. I’ve got a great bachelor’s pad and it’s needed some de-cluttering for some time, and this has been the perfect time for it.

the first step is opening a brokerage account, i recommend robinhood since youre not too late into the fall of the stock market, but youre definitely late. Vanguard drags balls, and idk about think or swim

the second step is to find stocks that you think are cheap and will appreciate more rapidly than indexes or that are just safer than indexes (e.g. amzn or googl). If youre not comfortable with that, then judt wait till q2 and buy a bunch of vti etf, and then wait for 2 years

It doesn’t effect gains that much if you manage it well. The sleep deprivation gets made up for by sleeping for like 18-19 hours after I come off. And my total t is in the high 900s, and that was taken 2 days after an addy binge. I’d imagine it’d be in the 1000s if I waited a week or so. But yea I also have done a prohormone cycle which are nothing like juice but still help gains

And I doubt it’s a retarded lifestyle if there’s tons of executives, doctors, and engineers who do this. It actually takes more intelligence since you have to manage your mind and body carefully so that it enhances your productivity in the long run without affecting anything else

You’re not wrong. I think in OPs case where he’s trying to go monk mode, encouraging him to take a drug which significantly inhibits you isn’t the best piece of advice. Many ways to unwind that aren’t going to put you in a state where you’re more likely to be lazy and go off track with your progress.

My lower body's going to suffer but I'll be doing bodyweight exercises. Push ups (one armed, diamond, handstand). Weighted pull ups and dips, dumbell work (I have some of those shitty dial-a-weight dumbells).

I do have the OG p90x videos and will probably do the yoga routines from that.

I works sales so I'm SOL for commissions. I was an engineer at this company before moving to sales so my hope is that I can jump in there and help where needed from home.

I do convict conditioning workouts so no worries there.

I have been using the time to spring clean since I will be away from work for 2 weeks due to a person testing positive.

I have tried to read and take it slow, spending more time making meals, but the reality is I have a 5 year old and they take up all my time so no opportunity to really work on anything other than my relationship with my kid. It’s good for me and them but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous of people who can do whatever the fuck they want when at home.

If there's any time to clean and vacuum my house, it's now. Starting with the bathroom tonight, which is usually the easiest one to motivate myself to clean. Then my own room, shouldn't be too hard, just need to vacuum and throw some crap away. I have a new bed that's supposed to be delivered this Saturday so it has to be before then, but it wouldn't surprise me if they postpone the delivery due to the virus. Then wipe down the kitchen and living room followed by vacuuming and mopping the floor. Last part will be vacuuming the hallways.

Edit: Random side thought, but I'm working out at in my friend's home gym and man, I thought my roommates and I were a little untidy. Maybe I'll have to clean his house next out of necessity.
