It’s never going to get better, she’d be doing less labor not having to take care of two man-babies, and maybe she could get back to work even part time. She’s doing herself and her child no favors staying; her excuses are just that—excuses. Rip the bandaid and be done with it. He’s a negative-value partner and she deserves so much better.

This is why I do not engage with men anymore.

I will never again hate my life like I did when I was married. My ex husband pushed me to the point of suicide several times. Thankfully I recovered but I will never. Ever. Be trapped by a man again.

The millisecond I got the job that allowed me to move out, I did.

Its such a simple statement, but a very powerful insight into her own situation.

This is why we advocate for vetting men and not having children with low/no value losers. This is why we advocate for leveling up and taking care of yourself first before doing anything for someone else.

So many women like this OP are trapped in domestic servitude situations because all of their energy is lost to trying to maintain a household with no help, and constant demands from others. She's guilted into giving up everything she has and when she asks for a small break they bully her back into submission.
