Unless you are travelling lot, get yourself proper tower. Even there are other options like sff (small form factor) pcs. Trust me most gaming laptops get obsolete within 2 years if you usually play AAA games.

What laptop are you looking at? If you're not going to be moving around with it, I suggest a desktop tower. More bang for your bucks. Otherwise, be sure to look if things like RAM and HD storage can be upgraded down the line! :)

A thing to think about also: A basic snowblower also costs around that much. If you have enough customers/neighbors in need of snow removal it might be worth your time to use that money to leverage up into being able to clear even more driveways and earn even more money by giving yourself the ability to quickly plow that snow.

Before you go and buy that laptop, you should know that you could actually get a higher quality laptop/desktop by buying all the parts and putting it together yourself. When you buy a gaming laptop, you're more or less paying for the brand.

Just get a ps5 honestly. I can't imagine there's much you can run on a $450 laptop considering most relevant GPUs alone will run you just about or more than that.
