Putting the kid aside, dating a teacher is a pain. You can only go on vacations certain times of the year, their pay sucks, you're always hearing about other people's kids and sad as it's to say, if one of their students passes away, it takes them months to get over it and you have to go to the wake for support.

I find that hard to believe. The reality is probably that the the men SHE is ATTRACTED TO are "emotionally unavailable" aka only looking for a FWB or ONS. The guys who were interested in more were really good friends and not remotely exciting enough.
