I used to date a girl who would get drunk and start fights with guys that she expected me to step in and finish. The thing is, the vast majority of guys don't rise to a dunk chick trying to start a fights bait, so she'd just get madder and madder as her target would laugh at her, and I'd be dragging her drunk screaming ass out of yet another bar. She NEVER squared off on other women...she was completely aware and conscious of putting herself in danger of getting punched out.

When I was in college I broke up with my girlfriend because she wanted to instigate a fight between me and her ex-boyfriend. We were out and happened to see her ex-boyfriend and he allegedly was giving her dirty looks (I didn't see him do anything). She kept saying, "You should go beat him up."

I was like, "Wait, I'm supposed to start a physical fight over a look? Fights can go very badly--I'm supposed to risk one or both of us getting injured, arrested, even killed? All because you say he looked at you?"

She kept telling me to go beat him up. Turned into an argument between the two of us that ended with me breaking up with her.

I think a lot of commenters are overlooking the fact that she didn't JUST send a picture to the guy. She also sent a text saying "feel free to smack the c***". This suggests she not only knew the guy's violent tendencies, but she outright intended to start a violent altercation between the two men.

Just thought it was worth pointing out that this woman wasn't simply reveling in making an ex-lover jealous. She intentionally provoked a psychopath (who she had a restraining order against) to attack some guy who did absolutely nothing wrong.

Alright so how does one prove the intent to instigate violence? There have been cases in the past where people were intentionally goaded into fights and slain in "self defense", but I think in this event the woman was just being trashy but the responsibility for this outcome ultimately lies on the man who held the knife.

Clearly such a person is mentally unstable. As despicable as both these people are, the only murderer here is the man.

He's entirely at fault for killing the guy, this is not on her, let's be real about it. PEOPLE have the capability to not react to being harassed, and this is one of those cases. He reacted and killed a person, that makes him unstable and borderline crazy, just as crazy and she was. To try and say it was her fault for sending a picture or GOADING him in any way is us as men showing ourselves as impulsively weak and emotionally fragile as women, and we are not. The text she sent her ex which captioned a pic of her sucking the victim's dick said, "Feel free to smack the cunt," not "Smack this cunt."

Honestly, I'm surprised and kind of upset that she was sentenced to time behind bars for inciting violence. I think she should have been charged with a different crime.
