Here in Germany women have their exclusive gyms and saunas and privileged parking spaces in garages.

We don't have any of those.

[–]the_tat_offensive 457 points458 points459 points 8 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Giving special treatment and privilege to a specific group? "Equality."

[–]mcavvacm 246 points247 points248 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Oh hush, as a male you have the privilege to die for your country and let women and children go first or face social ostracism. It's a fair trade.

Obligatory /s as the world is full of crazy individuals.

[–]mitzibishi1 points 8 years ago [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

Women are the primary victims of war because they have to bed Nazis to get perks and chocolate where before men would just give them it.

[–]TheyCallMeVinny 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

They shaved swastikas into the French whores hair that did that. That shits great.

Parking spaces? How does that work? Only women can park there?!

[–]Mcstakk1 points 8 years ago [recovered] (18 children) | Copy Link

There are some of these in Melbourne Australia too. Female only parking spots located close to shopping centre doors, because women felt more afraid in the parking lot than men did apparently.

[–]friendlygamerniceguy1 points 8 years ago [recovered] (11 children) | Copy Link

Its ok. You can park in them. Only disabled parking is legally enforced. Woman and parents parking are a coutesy same as senior parking.

[–]mansausage 63 points64 points65 points 8 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

I once had an angry parking garage security guy running over because I do of course park on women's spots.

Whip out the phone and ask if the guard just assumed your gender.

Watch them sprint full force the fuck away

[–]loviatar9 27 points28 points29 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You could whip out your dick, ask the same and they'd STILL be scared.

[–]IrrevocablyChanged 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

dick in hand

DID YOU JUST ASSUME MY GENDER? AM I BEING DETAINED?

“This isn’t worth it.”

I am travelling.

[–]wowultimation 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

The car park themselves can still give you a ticket though

[–]Bomcom 21 points22 points23 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Used to have a job in a large city that made me use a privately owned parking structure across the street. Myself and my coworkers had SO many tickets there for not paying, there was literally fuck-all they could do. Never paid them.

[–]wowultimation 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You have to be savvy about it to get away with it, at least in the UK

[–]Hohohoju 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They’re rarely enforceable on a level level.

I was given one a while ago, ignored it, got some threatening mail, told them to provide documentary evidence or piss off, they pissed off.

[–]vinnyj 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Like im going to pay that lol

[–]Pseudonymble 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup. courtesy only. Had a great conversation with a Grocery manager after a customer ratted me out for using one. My position was that the same wish for courtesy and convenience should be for any and all customers. When faced with the decision to lose a customer or appear like a spineless twat in front of the offended customers, he chose to appear like a spineless twat.

[–]j0rdy1 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I thought it was just for pregnant ladies those spots? Or is their legit female only carparks regardless of pregnancy?

[–]Metalageddon 16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's why it was first implemented yes. Pregnant/temporary disabled, enfeebled, etc.

Of course we forgot that now all women period must be one of the three. Couldn't possibly handle walking a bit further.

[–]MoveAlongChandler 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's super common.

[–]grnrngr 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

To be clear, they aren't afraid of the parking lot.

They are afraid of you.

You are a criminal who just hasn't committed a crime yet.

Jesus. I knew Australia was a a feminists wet dream that went too far but.......that is just fucking insane.

[–]kiddhitta 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In Canada, we have young children and expecting mothers parking spots but not women-specific ones.

[–]WolfeBane84 54 points55 points56 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

They have "expectant mothers" parking at the local mall that is literally ALL the closest spots.

I park in them, IDGAF, I plan to use the "I identify as an 'expectant mother' " line if I'm ever confronted. Then if they give me crap I plan to go with "It's because I'm black, isn't it."

[–]5p33di3 36 points37 points38 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Please tell be you're a white guy

[–]WolfeBane84 37 points38 points39 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]OrsoMalleus 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Curthurley 16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ive been identifying as a woman of color for a couple of years now. Its extra special w my beard and "feminism is cancer" t shirt. Im literally everything that feminists love to hate, tall, white, male, muscular. For extra extra special moments i like to break out a MAGA hat. Its the cherry on top. And im not even a big Trump fan, just loooooovvvvve to trigger feminists.

[–]H0ss11 points 8 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

How can this possibly be enforced? Why couldn't I just choose to identify as female for a couple hours, while I was parked there?

Or is the punishment more along the lines of ostracism?

[–]vinnyj 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Theres no recourse, its just a courtesy

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They have parking spaces up front at our supermarket for expectant mothers or mothers with small children here. I almost wanted to park in one a few days ago, because who the hell is gonna know? Unless I'm in a handicapped space with no sticker, thats totally different.

[+]tabAvitamin -6 points-5 points-4 points 8 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

My work has this rule too, but our facility is in a super shady area in town. Those particular spots are under cameras. and we have had crazy people trying and succeeding into getting into the lot.

The only 3 girls in the company are a really old-grandma-type lady, and 2 younger girls (myself included) who are 5’4 (105 lbs and 115).

And don’t get me wrong I did tried to stop one of the crazy people that came in, but I was written up for it

[–]icandrive1551 points 8 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

So, fuck men then? If a druggie with a gun wants to mug someone, let it be a man, they say. /equality

[–]tabAvitamin 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

First of all, I didnt make this rule. It was done before we were even hired, I told them I could park anywhere, and they (my boss and the security guy both men) said that it wasn’t up for debate. The reasons I wrote were the ones given to me.

The reasons I gave are the ones given to me.

[–]levelate 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

what defines it as a super shady area, and i mean specifics?

[–]tabAvitamin 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

North Las Vegas, people from Las Vegas can corroborate. Las Vegas is an awful city as it is, the north area is the worst. The facility is right next to a low-income housing area too, a lot crime is committed on a regular basis.

[–]Darddeac 15 points16 points17 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We don't even got homeless shelters here. :/

Well it's a good thing men don't make up the majority of the homeless population, r-right? Right???

[–]Vawnn 22 points23 points24 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I cancelled my gym membership at the local gym because they closed off part of the gym for use by "Women Only"

When I asked what my membership discount would be now that I can't use the whole gym like I used to, they were confused. When I said I'd like to cancel they told me I was under contract. Once I got the regional manager on the phone they cancelled my account but what a pain in the ass.

[–]mansausage 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The nerves they have. Glad that you got out of there, though.

[–]Marshall_InTheDoor 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

Unless it's goverment sponsored I don't care, anyone can make a blank-exclusive-blank, if it's a private business you can do whatever, but everytime I've seen someone try and do a man only thing feminists get triggered.

P.s. aren't there men only my saunas? There's one in my town.

[–]mansausage 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's still something men subsidize, because women pay the same - if not less - for their memberships.

[–]Marshall_InTheDoor 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

In a women only place??

[–]mansausage 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My gym is a chain, so yes.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

yep, there is a womens section in my gym. Do men try to get in there? no

[–]Hohohoju 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah they have one in my gym too but I don’t really get it. It’s privilege in a nutshell

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

its fairly off putting no matter how you look at it. Reason 1: women just flat out get extra perks at a gym just because. Reason 2: men are hard to be around and sometimes women need an escape from them.

[–]CitizenBum 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Isn't all of that a more recent development due to the migrant crisis? I don't remember seeing any of that five years ago when I lived in Germany. I remember seeing parking for expected mothers, but not the rest. Maybe Baden-wurtemberg & Hessen were just different or I was just oblivious to all of it.

[–]TripleSkeet 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We have women only gyms in America and have for a long time now.

[–]VicisSubsisto 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I recall seeing it as of about 3 years ago in B-W. I had to triple-check I didn't have the sign's translation wrong.

[–]CitizenBum 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If that's the case, I'm willing to chalk it up to the migration crisis. I left Germany about a year or two before the Köln New Years fiasco and I don't remember seeing segregation of male/female things at that time. So sad that stuff like that needs to be implemented in order to make people safe.

[–]GasJewYork 15 points16 points17 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Lmao I saw that when I was in Germany about a month ago. The best parking spots in the hotel had a “womyn” sign on it. I kinda understand it due to your recent immigration policy that brought a lot of towelhead rapists into your county but at the same time I didn’t really give a shit and parked there anyway. The best part is that my Scandinavian colleague, who is a woman, found it offensive and sexist. There’s no winning with progressives. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s racist

[–]IolaBoylen 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The gym and sauna thing I can understand, but I’m not sure what the thought is behind the parking garage. Unless they’re are concerned about women being attacked on the walk to their car, but I’m not sure certain parking spots would really eliminate that threat.

[–]dronningmargrethe1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

That's it.. concerned about being raped etc.

[–]levelate -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

maybe, if women are so afraid of the 'omnipresent' threat of rape, then, maybe they should only consider leaving the house with a related male escort....for womens (perceived)safety

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are also female-only gyms here in the States too.

[–]aquietmidnightaffair 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think Australia is also suffering a bit of similar delusions.

[–]majaka1234 222 points223 points224 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Ah, Australia.

Of course when Aussie girls talk about "the patriarchy" the only example they can come up with is being denied service at a men's hair salon.

[–]anotherdumbcaucasian 51 points52 points53 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

It's a barber shop, not a salon.

[–]wecsam 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Could you ELI5 the difference?

[–]ButtNutly 18 points19 points20 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Barbershops generally only cut men's hair while salons tend to cut men and women's.

[–]Achack 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well if we're getting technical they give men's haircuts which are faster and require different skills. If a woman wanted a haircut that men typically have I don't see why a barbershop wouldn't be a good choice. I'm a guy who grows my hair longer and for that reason I don't think a barbershop would be a good option for me.

[–]Muddy_Roots 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Completely different schools too. When my friend finished her cosmetology schooling i asked about a shave with a straight razor and she told me she would have to goto barber school for that.

[–][deleted] 420 points421 points422 points 8 years ago (58 children) | Copy Link

It says "Barbershop for Men." Why would a woman go to a barbershop and not a salon? Hasn't barbershop always been synonymous with shaves and cuts for men?

[–]ragingfartalot[S] 172 points173 points174 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Yes, but then you'd be using logic to respond to emotional cries of sexism at every turn. Also there was a non-compete clause in the barbershop's lease that has since been changed:

The barber shop chain said new lease conditions imposed by centre management mean the outlet was subject to non-compete clauses aimed at protecting the trade of ladies' hairdressers in the complex. Those lease conditions have now been changed.

[–]wzrd23 81 points82 points83 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Wonder if a man can go to a women's only gym. 🤔

[–]gullman1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Yea, but who'd want to. No free weights and plates only go up to 10kg.

[–]cleverusername94 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They actually can, at least in the states. Women only gyms can't actually enforce that.

[–]Lord_Syntor 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just has to claim he's trans that way people won't say anything for risk of being transphobic

[–]seannco 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That was Jimmy Rods in Brisbane not at the barber in Adelaide.

[–][deleted] 281 points282 points283 points 8 years ago (34 children) | Copy Link

There's no other reason for her to have gone there than to grand stand knowing full well it was a place dedicated to providing men with simple haircuts. She knew she may be denied service and was counting on that so she can get her 15 minutes of fame while destroying the reputation of a small business. It's social policing at it's finest.

I honestly hope the woman who started this just to start shit gets her head kicked in on her way home from work.

[–]i_make_song 80 points81 points82 points 8 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

I wouldn't deny her service.

Just give her a man's haircut!

[–]roguetroll 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You are assuming that's not the type of haircut she already had. 😂

[–]i_make_song 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She wouldn't have gotten the attention she craved if they just gave her a haircut. I really don't see the big deal.

[–]ABC_Florida 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

And shave her, to have to suck with stronger facial hair in the future.

[–]Tobikaj 9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Isn't that a myth?

[–]OrsoMalleus 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It is, but I still laugh at the indignation of a woman with a bowl cut getting a straight razor shave out of principle.

[–]Tobikaj 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True.

[–]Steven_Seboom-boom 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yes. but op is from Florida..

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

seriously, if I was a barber instead of listening to some bitch piss and moan for days and try to bring it to court I'd say fine sit the fuck down your getting a buzzcut because that's what we do here

[–]i_make_song 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I really don't see the issue.

You're #1 losing money and time by dealing with this, and #2 getting a ton of likely negative PR.

The dudes should've just said, "We have no problem giving you a haircut but we specialize in men's haircuts". Be done with it and earn some money.

In my opinion this comes off more as two sexist people being sexist and I'm not a fan of that. It's far worse than pulling the "woman card" in my opinion.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

thats what I was trying to say the hassle of dealing with her vs. just giving her a $10 buzzcut, I'm not saying some malicious haircut literally just what barbershops do, however if she was demanding like a long hair cut they def. can turn that down that's not their business

[–]asaasa19831 points 8 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

There might be another sinister reason:

Usually men haircut cost less (because they are faster and require less steps and time) than women haircut.

I bet her plan was to go there requesting that her 3 color hair coloration with 3 different hair lenght and special hair care should cost the same as a man getting his hair shaved in 15 minutes.

And if the price wasn't the same, she would had claimed ''pink tax''.

This looks like thought police white knighting virtue signaling and gatekeeping all in one. Freedom of speech. Why cant people hope for sick things? Who made you boss on reddit?

•Not thought policing •I believe the woman is in the wrong, but should not face physical punishment for her actions •How am I hate keeping? •Freedom of speech applies to what you can say, I will still judge you for being an idiot in what you say publicly •Not the boss of Reddit, just trying to introduce basic human compassion to the OP

"Don't say shit like that" is a textbook example of thought policing.

[–]guidofaux1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

I think its the way you said "don't say shit like" and not "is that really necessary" I'm being pedantic because I agree with you, but I also don't think its fair to tell people who verbalise their annoyance differently to suddenly try change their speech patterns to accommodate you. With that said I don't think this instance requires a violent attack, but I do think the bitch is dumb and should have her head kicked in. Just not literally.

Meh. You already understood what he meant. You asserted either there was another meaning behind the words, OR he has issues.

Either way pointing that out does nothing but stroke your ego. (I mean unless you're certified to correct those issues if they exist.)

I'm guessing you're not.

All you did was brag that yes, you understand hyperboly, and yes, you understand maladaptive behaviors require help. And... What?

The lady who runs this salon near my house has been doing my mom's hair for 36 years. I often went to her salon for many years until last year when I moved into my own apartment and usually go to a nearby barber which funnily enough, has a female barber among the other guys but she's cool. She usually is the one who cuts my hair. And on Saturdays, there's free pizza. Haha.

My dad also goes to the salon I mentioned above, run by the lady who's been doing my mom's hair. I am pretty sure its a unisex salon.

The complaint is under investigation by the Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Commission.

There is another men-only barber in Sydney that doesn't even allow women on the premises.

Feminists had a tantrum and went after them in 2016. A discrimination complaint against them was dismissed and since then they've continued doing business as usual.

If you want it short, the barber is gonna do a better job than a salon. If you want it shoulder length, don't even bother going to the barber.

[–]weapawn 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Right, I'm sure some salons out there can do great pixie style cuts. Just not the ones where she was.

[–]Tar_alcaran 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's actually very normal for shopping malls and high-density business areas. If you have two women's hair salons already, adding another one would be bad for all three businesses, and bad for a fourth business who now isn't adding more usefulnes to that shopping area, AND to the whole area, because a shopping place with three hair salons isn't as useful as one with two salons and some other store.

The barbershop probably got the place based on not competing with previously existing businesses.

Barbershop for man are the best. The cuts are fast so you will be out there in no time.

This is the same excuse as the toilet. Because man do it fast they want it gender neutral so they can use it to decrease the queue time.

That women objective was to get fame and money while destroying patriarchy or just wanted to have her hair done fast. But the moment you allow women enter barbershop s you cant call it that. Any man that want a simple cut or do his facial hair will need to wait ages before all the girls coloring the hair or making permanents finish.

[–]Tar_alcaran 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But the moment you allow women enter barbershop s you cant call it that.

Well, to be fair, if she wanted the same haircut, it wouldn't be an issue.

[–]lolnottelling 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

To be fair I’ve had my hair cut in lots of places. Nobody has ever said no. I wandered into a place where I was the only white person for blocks and I got my hair cut no problem. I know of a case a few years back where there was a white owned barbershop that advertised it wouldn’t cut black people hair and that was a bit unseemly. But with gender men can get cut anywhere and it looks like women can’t go as many places as men. Why the fuck would a woman want to got to a spirit-smelling barbershop filled with dudes getting shaved and clipped? Get your head out of yer arse ya bint.

[–]montar516 27 points28 points29 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

a white barber shop that doesnt cut black hair may just be that they dont have a lot of practice with it and dont want to fuck it up.

[–]joedevice 14 points15 points16 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Unsurprisingly, barbers not cutting womens hair is the same. It's a lot harder and requires specific training.

[–]lolnottelling 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The owner was very clear about that but his behaviour was more exclusionary and divisive.

[–]Bears_Bearing_Arms 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I mean, black people's hair is quite different from white hair and being an expert at cutting one does not necessarily mean you are equally skilled at the other.

[–]late2thepauly 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I get it if the barbershop chooses not to cut and dress hair. However, my aunt was turned away from a barbershop and all she wanted was her buzzcut rebuzzed. I didn't think that was right.

[–]anotherdumbcaucasian 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Barbers are trained with clippers, not so much scissors. If she wanted a buzz, she should've gotten it. If she wanted anything else, she shouldve been turned away because barbers don't do women's haircuts. I don't see how this is so difficult. This is like claiming it's sexist that men's rooms have urinals or that men wear a cup when playing sports.

She went into a barbershop specifically tailored for men expecting to be serviced and then cried when she was denied. What more information do you need?

[–]Wilsonian81 -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The article doesn’t say what the woman wanted. Was she refused because she wanted a service that they didn’t provide, or simply because she was a woman? We can’t get pissed off when men are refused at ‘women only’ establishments, but then cheer when the same thing happens to a woman. Anyone who wants their hair cut by a barber should be allowed to go to a barber. Anyone who wants their hair cut at a salon should be allowed to go to a salon. We can’t ‘fight the good fight’ by being hypocrites.

[–]DrillWormBazookaMan 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The article doesn’t say what the woman wanted. Was she refused because she wanted a service that they didn’t provide, or simply because she was a woman?

Both. It was a man only barber shop. Women have no place in a man only barbershop unless they are waiting for their boyfriend or husbands, or working there. Cutting female hair is different than cutting male hair. There's a lot more that goes into it and in many cases it requires more training than a standard barber would. Not only is this a factor as to why she got denied, but as it states it was specifically designated as a "MAN ONLY" barber shop. Automatically she should be denied just based on that alone as businesses in this country retain the right to refuse service.

We can’t get pissed off when men are refused at ‘women only’ establishments, but then cheer when the same thing happens to a woman.

I can't speak for everyone but the difference here is when I at least personally complain about "women only" establishments, I'm talking about establishments that have no real reason to be women only other than simply advancing the ever growing female privilege that exists in this country. Homeless shelters, breast cancer exams, jobs denying men for affirmative action. (In the case of homeless shelters I'm well aware of the rape problem with the very few Co ed homeless shelters that exist. But try googling male homeless shelters by comparison of female ones, there are vastly more female shelters despite men being more than 80% of the homeless population)

Anyone who wants their hair cut by a barber should be allowed to go to a barber.

Anyone is allowed to do so, but this specific establishment barred specific people for their specific reason which is perfectly legal. Also again, as outlined before, would you want a barber that wasn't trained to cut female hair, to cut your hair? (Not sure if you're a woman or not, but I hope you can see my point)

We can’t ‘fight the good fight’ by being hypocrites.

Same with being misinformed and reacting through emotions.

[–]Wilsonian81 -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I am a happily married man, with 2 daughters. And if either of my kids walk into a barbershop and ask for a ‘short, back & sides’, they shouldn’t be refused service simply because they don’t have a penis. My question is simple: Did this woman walk into a pizza shop and demand a hot dog? Or did she ask for a slice of pizza, and was refused because she didn’t have the proper genitalia?

[–]DrillWormBazookaMan 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I already answered your question, it's probably both.

You're missing the massive point that in this country, businesses have a right to refuse service. The business was set up specifically for one type of person. If they don't want to serve you because you're a woman, they don't have too.
