Honestly, every time I hear someone say that men feel entitled to sex I die a little inside. Surely such men exist, but my personal experience is that women getting turned down act drastically worse.

There's this sort of myth that only men get angry from being rejected. Women often think this because they've often never had to reject women, and some men believe it because they've never rejected a woman before (like incels for example). More men are expected to approach/initiate anyway. But anyone who has rejected several women knows they're not necessarily going to handle it any better than a man. It's natural to be hurt by rejection no matter who you are, it's not the "male entitlement" problem that some would like to portray it as.

Let me give you a tip for the uninitiated, if you become a initiator your going to have to deal with rejection. Don't feel bad bro, I've been in a relationship with a girl for 7 years. I lost my job last year and haven't gotten one back yet, mostly because I stay at home dad for my daughter 5 days out of the week. Our relationship has gotten rocky because "the man should provide for the family" even though she took nearly a year and 3/4 off when our child was born, and I supported her fully and payed all our bills.
