2 months since my wife told me she wants a divorce. I was blindsided. No infidelity (I think) just years of her being unhappy and me not be aware. Partly my fault, partly hers.

At this point she’s made it clear that there is no chance of reconciliation, she fell completely out of love and feels nothing. She pretended to be happy for a long time for whatever reason.

I am still so hung up on past memories. Every little thing that existed in my life before the moment she told me she wanted out is a constant reminder of her. I can’t watch any show, walk down any street, do a single thing with our child without it triggering a memory and feeling of her.

I still love her so much even though she’s been pretty mean and cold to me during this process. I don’t even recognize her, but I’m stuck on the version of her that was there just a day before she left me. When does it get easier?
