Three years out. We don't talk. She acts like we should, like everyone should be "over it", "for the kids".

Just another emotionally immature man. Never mind the condescending speech she gave me during the divorce.

"Look idiot, this is how it works: I try to get as much as I can from you, and you try to get as much as you can from me, and we get what we get. There's no discussion."

She didn't get all the custody she had planned on. She didn't even get to pick the schools. Now that she's not in control she wants to be friends. All she's ever done is use me.

How can my children ever understand that I can't talk to her under these conditions, and that it's not my fault?
