The women who are writing that are ones who have experienced it. The way that you can avoid women hating you is by treating them decently. Stay away from redpill and the negging and all of the stuff that is saying to dominate women. Women are humans. Women are looking for Kind, compassionate, equal partners. Treat women that way, and they will not hate you.

This sub has a lot of women on here who have been abused by men who have used tactics from RP/PUA, this isnt a very large subreddit so I doubt that the women specifically on exredpill randomly found a small niche subreddit to exaggerate their experiences? I found this subreddit because I needed to find other women who have been in my exact situation

That kind of content is not healthy nor helpful. I avoid it like the plague, and you should too.

Women are tired of being harassed and objectified. Rightfully so. But there's a group that emerged and became more extreme in their outrage. Their rhetoric is not helpful or healthy. And somehow, the abusive dudes never got the message to stop their bullshit while a lot of innocent dudes have had their self esteem issues exacerbated.

If you're not harassing women, then you don't have to worry.

Look at it this way:

On the internet, you can find a lot of misogynistic men who are hateful towards women. A lot of the redpill and incel guys are like that.

That creates a lot of women who, in response, have a lot of hate for men. Also, there are plenty of women who have suffered real-world abuse by men. It's not surprising that some of them have angry or hateful feelings towards men.

Both of these groups are outliers. You should ignore both groups for your own mental health. Most people in the real world are not so hateful.

Not saying there are not psychopaths out there saying that, just that it's possible to live a normal life and not see it ever.

I think I understand. Maybe what I have to say will be helpful?

I’m a trans man. I grew up in a very “feminist” family. I say “feminist” in quotations because while my mom told me over and over again that men are gross and dangerous, that I shouldn’t want to be a boy, and that masculinity was inherently predatory, both of my parents had very problematic views of gender. My mom was constantly criticizing my body once I hit puberty, as time went on my dad I think started falling for alt-right kinda of shit about how women are better off in the home, and I was basically groomed into taking care of my little brother. I will say that once I realized my family wasn’t as pro-woman as they claimed to be, it was really easy for me to process my mistreatment. I think this is in large part because these issues are really well characterized and I know there will be a safe space available for me to talk about it if I need to.

What has been much harder for me to disentangle is this hatred and disgust I feel towards men. I hate myself because I feel I will never live up to the ideals of masculinity. But even more than that, I hate that I want to be masculine at all. After growing up hearing that men are gross and wrong, they all treat women like sex objects and male sexuality is inherently predatory, they are incapable of caring about anyone except themselves, it’s like I feel I have some sort of moral duty to not be masculine because I don’t want to invoke those sorts of feelings in others. But yet I can’t deny that being a guy is just who I am. I like women, I like femininity, there were parts of being a girl that I enjoyed, but it just doesn’t feel right. I’m happier as a guy.

Sometimes I still do feel ashamed of being a man, especially because it’s something I “chose.” But I’ve worked really hard to try and internalize the fact that I don’t exist for other people. The women saying that they hate all men have probably been through a lot of trauma perpetuated by men, but I am not the man who did that to them. It is incredibly inappropriate to project their traumatic experiences onto me just because I share a facet of my identity with their abusers. I respect their need for safe space away from men, I agree that the patriarchy is real and want to work towards dismantling it, but I will not tolerate people making me feel lesser on the basis of my identity. Man-hating feminists absolutely exist and I’m kind of sick of people pretending that they don’t. Are they a big problem in the grand scheme of things? Not particularly. But yes, they are still hurtful. I think the best thing is to acknowledge that they have their views due to trauma that they project onto others, and to just leave them alone with that. They deserve a space to vent, sure, but I’m not going to self harm by looking at or engaging in that shit. And I think the VAST majority of people agree that truly believing all men are inherently evil is a fucked up fringe belief.

Hey my man, sorry you got caught up in all the negative turmoil of angry/hurt people online expressing hate. It doesn’t feel good to anyone, both men and women. Some things that might be helpful to point out:

While you are not in control of what other people say, you ARE in charge of the content you look at and the time you spend with that content. The more we consume something, the more it will occupy our minds and start to effect our own feelings and thoughts (about the world and ourselves). Don’t click on things that you know will enrage you/hurt you, and click the block or “do not show me this again” buttons. Take responsibility of your feed. I do not see any “I hate men” type of material because I don’t follow the type of content that would ever have those messages. I don’t follow hateful, rage-inducing things in general.
Have you heard of confirmation bias? When we already have an opinion about something, we are more likely to see it around us and we won’t notice the things that don’t align with our opinion. Example: the opinion that all women are gold diggers - this person would notice every time a women has a nice bag, has a partner who makes more money than her, talks about a gift from her partner, dating a wealthy doctor - and they would think “of course, they all want to use men as ATMs!”, and this person would NOT notice that the same woman bought her partner a nice watch, pays her own share of the rent, and is passionate about the healthcare field/helping others. They would also notice actual gold diggers on social media while completely ignoring the majority of women who are not that way (you’ve probably met these type of dudes, kind of the same as the “all men are trash” type women). So, to summarize, what you already believe (probably because of spending lots of time with that type of content) is what you will see around you while you will not notice the people who don’t think/speak that way. You seem to see that on this sub you said, but I haven’t noticed that at all here.
one of the most important factors here I think is that you recognized you seek it out on purpose. This type of doom scrolling is called digital self harm. You’re constantly exposing yourself to something that you know will cause an emotional reaction from you. There’s a reason you are doing this and it is serving you in sone way but it’s better to explore that with a therapist than an internet stranger. On a more practical note: Plenty of content exists bashing, shaming, and insulting women - what would you say to a women who spends all her time in online spaces that focus on complaining about women, reading all the vile things they say daily, and then she feels insecure and upset? What would you tell an Indian or black man who spends all his time watching white supremacist videos and viewing white supremacist content and then feels awful about the state of the world and themselves? The obvious answer is to stop watching and avoid that content. But again, there’s sone underlying reason why you’re putting yourself in that emotional state - as you know that content is already harmful.
lastly with the sensitively you mentioned: maybe you’re a little sensitive, maybe not. But when you’re constantly exposing yourself to emotionally negative and draining content, it will affect your own mood, emotions, and outlook on life. Small things that you normally wouldn’t care about might seem bigger or you might take it out of context. Neutral things can seem like a personal attack if you’re already in a doomer, insecure state of mind. Sexism is real, and while men have many problems we face on our own, we can’t ignore how horrible history and the system in general has been to women. They’re still working on equality, and there are still men who see women as objects. Try to put yourself in their shoes: yes, they are angry, they are venting, and that’s okay (it’s NOT okay to generalize a gender and spew hate), but I am saying try to understand how that anger comes from very real lives experienced they are having, their moms had, and their grandmas had where women were just expected to accept the unfair treatment. Again, not justifying saying things like “I hate all men”, but it might help you understand the bigger picture with the historical context. A lot of young dudes who are RP now and growing up with the newer wave of feminism with sone super extreme/immature takes weren’t around to see how horribly women were portrayed in media just like 10, 20 years ago (like in the 90s when women who didn’t look like they had an eating disorder and stimulant addiction were considered overweight). It’s a cultural pushback to centuries of unfairness - so yes there is anger and hurt, and the other side is reacting just as an angrily. The fight for things like equality is never pretty and isn’t perfect, but it’s necessarily for change. So try to see it from a historical/sociological perspective - it’s not personal. It’s not about you. Plus, the immature angry people online are the loudest (you can see this with any demographic), so don’t think what some random 14 year old girl is saying on twitter is how mature, level-headed people think about men/women/genders. The whole gender war crap online is just not relevant to peoples day to day lives.

This dude made a post genuinely questioning why he should date women when they didn’t accept him at his worst. Instead of giving a genuine and empathetic response, some redditor, basically told him he should be gay, he’s wrong, and seek therapy. People want to pretend that it wasn’t condescending but everyone is smart enough to know when someone is just throwing “seek therapy” to be disingenuous. Like sure, maybe he should seek therapy but those same comments that lack empathy is the same reason why a lot of dudes go Redpill.

I’m not blaming feminism as a whole, but we can all agree that a decent amount of “feminists” make brief and rage baiting posts basically saying that all men are the privileged bad guys. Like imagine being a young man who’s poor and barely had any opportunity in life being fed this shit. Then when you question it, most people will basically humiliate you for it. Like what if the guy I mentioned actually wanted to listen to views outside of the RP and saw that comment? Those actions will make that person reactive and force them to the RP which is just as worst.

As I said, I’m not gonna blame this all on feminism. I’ve talked to many feminists who’ve agreed on my point. I’m also not saying this to pardon men who hop on RP, but it’s important that we understand why these young men are choosing that lifestyle. I just wish that more people would put more effort into pointing this stuff out instead of typing a paragraph similarly saying

You need to get off the internet. It's not healthy. Reality is quite different. Anyone on the internet and consuming it the way that you are is opening themselves up to be manipulated in quite significant ways by any outside party willing to produce online content... many exist.

Women are mostly fine. As are men. It's the loudest that tend to have the least valuable views to share. And they abound on the internet.

The way to get off the internet is to move meaning into your own life. Building something somehow always seems to work. But really any hobby will do. It just needs to be some expression of you. Welcome to self-discovery.
