Men who don't take care of themselves and instead rely on a youthful metabolism to stay skinny and the emotional labor of others to survive at all (parents, roommates, college gf, etc) generally lose all that in their thirties. They hit a wall, no one will date them, and their only hope is young naive women who don't know better.

Those young naive women then get sick of their shit, find FDS or a great therapist and bloom in their thirties.

Men know this and thus the "women over 30 bad" lie was born.

When I was on OLD I would shamelessly ask men if their profile age matches their biological age after I got tricked by a LVM who lied about his age for 2 full months of dating. The responses were ALWAYS hilarious. One guy said "Let me check" and pretended like he was checking his profile to confirm what it said LOL then he said "Bumble pulled my age from FB and used a fake age there so I'm harder to find." So interesting how his fake age was exactly 10 years younger than his bio age. 🙄 Another guy had a fifteen year difference and he said "It's still me though!" 😂 Pathetic.

The funny thing is that cougars (women who go for younger men) are hugely in demand and there is a crazy surplus of cubs (the younger men). It's not for everyone and there are if course alot of young guys who are just out there to have sex, but I'm part of some cougar communities (one of them is r/cougarsandcubs here), and there are some young guys who genuinely want older women and treat them like queens.

There is still a stigma around older woman/younger man, but really, who gives an F about what a society that regularly subjugates women and has built a system to actively keep us down, thinks? Not me.

Knew a guy who did this.

His Tinder profile said 28. We talked some but never met. A year later he texts me (while I was currently cleaning old phones numbers out of my phone and blocking). He beat me in texting me before I got to his name. We chatted. He sent face selfies. He looked older than what I remember AND he was wearing a mask because Covid. Couldn't even give me a full face pic. I aske how old he was again- 33. (OK. Caught you lying on your profile). We chatted and it came up about how womem are great because [we] can have [men's] babies. As a CF woman, I was extra repulsed. He invited himself to come over that following Sunday after chatting again after I said I was about to get up for the day [and he was like no, stay so I can come over and we can "cuddle" for a while]. I replied shortly after saying I was out the door already. We chatted some more (for looks) before he ghosted me because i was a waste of his time for not wanting to hook up with him immediately when he asked for it.

Dodged that one. I used to find ghosting offense, but now I just look at it as the trash taking itself out.
