and guess what ? The woman that works 40 hours per week still does the majority of the housework so she has all the right to nag. The girl is tired.

Pickmes: "Men and women are EQUALS! So act like it!" Also pickmes: "Remember to pamper your MAN, ladies!"

Such hypocrisy. Along with the "Don't expect your man to buy you things, you're a gold digger!" but also "Ladies! Spoil your man, buy him the PS5!! Men need to be treated right!!" This shit is just man worshipping, nothing to do with equality.

No woman who works harder than most men for the same job for 40 hours a week wants to come home to an overcooked noddle attached to a porn fried brain.

Why cook him dinner? I've seen many tiktok pickmes who cook for their gaming scrotes and they push away the food because they ordered a burger previously. The pickmes who blurt out "spoil your man" ("even when he doesn't spoil you") are idiots. That man is not helpless. If he's hungry, he can order some food. It's not like he needs them to cook for him. They just do that because they want to be needed. Pickmes, instead of looking at themselves and taking control of their lives, just live as servants all their lives, sensitive to the whims of the men they put on a pedestal. Those men rarely, if ever, will spare a look towards them or will ask them whether they need anything. If they have little boys, these pickmes will make sure to sacrifice everything so that the boys grow up just like daddy: selfish and self involved, lacking in empathy and blind to another person's perspective.

Given the existing pay gap, A woman has to work 13 hours longer every week to make the same money a man does, despite likely doing a better job anyway given all the brain damage men have to suffer due to their porn consumption.
So to make sure things are equal, when he comes home he should spend an extra 13 hours a week split between cooking me dinner and learning how to suck pussy to make up for it.

As someone who works over 40 hours a weeks, I'm curious as to what my expectations should be?
1) anyone I ever move in with, is paying for the cleaning professional
2) I'm likely not cooking much for you until I live there. Not living there until I have a ring. And a contract. (marriage. Babes, marriage is a contract.)
I effing hate Kanye. So much. But... Not saying I'm a goldiggr but I ain't chillin with no broke bro.
You bring equal or more to the table. I am not doing frickall for you.
[β]thowawaywookieFDS Newbie83 points84 points85 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Some do start out more equal but quickly goes to woman doing everything after a baby is born. It's also a prime time for him to cheat since he's going to whine about the baby getting attention.
[β]SwirlyButterflyFDS Newbie91 points92 points93 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've noticed that even if the housework is mostly equal in relationships, childcare never is. I've only met one family where the man does more childcare than the woman. Its a big reason why I've always been iffy about the whole idea of having kids. Add to that, the statistics of men committing domestic violence and cheating during a woman's pregnancy.

That's something I've established with my current partner. If we move in together, there's a weekly maid, a robot vacuum, a dog walker and we cook together the meal delivery kit because I'm not spending a braincell planning meals. He loves how effective it is and can't wait to do that. Life's too short and I work too hard to not fully have my evenings + weekends to enjoy. (Speaking from an ultra privileged position of course because I can actually afford all of that)
[β]thighsmatchFDS Newbie53 points54 points55 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I know several couples who do this but it was interesting to see the cracks caused by covid. Like my straight married friends who couldnβt have the housekeeper come, no school or daycare, both spouses working but who do you think bore the brunt of domestic labor? The women of course. Two of my friends ended up hiring nannies.

please dont move in with any boyfriend . only when your married and into anew home not his. also cook only for a husband and yeah you can read this amzing book why men marry bitches
[β]whatevertotonFDS Newbie26 points27 points28 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
This is really a key point-it really is best if it is a home purchased/rented together. It sets you together on equal footing. That way you start out together rather than trying to fit ones belongings into the new spouses already set up home. That automatically puts the βmoving inβ spouse at a disadvantage.

Honestly, I lived with a 'man' in my 20s, I was so young and naive. I'm not sure if I'll ever share a space with a man again - I love my solace. And then men around here who are single .. have very good reason to be ( refusal to treat mental illnesses, addicted to video games, works part time, lives in subsidized housing, can't carry on a conversation, have the vocabulary of a ten year old...). I'm actually describing someone who keeps making new Instagram accounts to contact me despite me having my local police get involved back in September as he's been accused of stalking me. π

100% marriage is a contract. I finally moved in with my partner after 10 years. We were going to get married. Then he died in August. We moved in and had none of the financial stuff finalized. I wish I had asked for that to be worked out before buying a $500K house with him. Long story short, I moved from my house of 22 years to my dream house with my love...and now I am in a smaller house with my kids alone. I am thankful that I have a nice salary and could quickly buy a house, but some financial protection for my partner dying would have helped slow down this abrupt processs

Well I mean who does want to come home to that?
Thereβs a difference between having a strong character and firm boundaries, and being combative and argumentative.
Being βfeminineβ and βsweetβ and doing traditional housewife things like making your man dinner, doesnβt mean youβre a subservient pushover.
A HVM will appreciate the gesture but also reciprocate when itβs his turn.
