If you ever watch 90 Day Fiancé the guys will travel across the world to meet some chick they've been talking to for 3 months. Asked a man I was seeing ( being breadcrumbed by is the truth) to be my boyfriend . This was via text. I meant I needed him to stand in some capacity for some benefits I was applying for where the funders looked at partnered women better than single ones. The verbal gymnastics this man played verses the weak /porn sick sex game he had still amazes me. Said the spiel of how he “really liked me and enjoyed the sex but was not yet in love with me.” I told him hold up! And take a deep breath that’s not what I’m asking. Wish I could have been harsher/ more truthful but I wanted that grant money. In the end he says no, 3 weeks later. I blocked him immediately.

They seem to think all women want that from them but don’t know that even if we do want marriage we are choosy about who we tie ourselves to precisely for the reason that we’re gonna enhance his life. We add value. A married man has standing and gravitas in Society apart from living longer and better than single guys.
