What would I benefit from that??? Why would conflict feel good? Why would an empty toxic relationship plus meaningless sex on the side feel good? It won't make me content, I will cheat myself out of feelings of love, romance and endorphins from being in a good relationship. It's senseless. It's like trading a really great job that brings you fulfilment for a lesser paying miserable job and an even shittier side hustle and I end up doing more hours for less money. WHY?
