My ex used to half-jokingly call me high-maintenance. I would routinely ask him what part of my maintenance he was responsible for, and if he couldn’t name more than a few things, I must not be that high maintenance.

It kind of worked, mostly because he was too stupid to realize that he was the only person who thought it was a funny joke.

Here's the thing y'all should know ladies: the truth is, if scrotes suddenly have a million dollar next morning - they will immediately go for the highest maintenance woman they can get, and kick their low-maintenance woman to the curb.

Because no matter how they try to lie to us, their actions is crystal clear - they only respect high-maintenance, difficult woman who knows her worth and silently resent low-maintenance woman.

Just see how they treat their barbara the builder, starter wife, forever girlfriend, baby mamas who give them everything and demand nothing. You can just see how angry they are at those women and how they just can't wait to talk shit about those women at every opportunities. Even their own mother.

The ONLY men who complain about some women being "high maintenance" are ALWAYS low value men.

They want to get pussy for the least effort possible. And it's perpetuated enough in society that some women (pick-mes) make a HUGE deal about being "low maintenance" - AKA sacrifice their wants/needs when it's just basic relationship stuff.

And what these men think high maintenance means is something along the lines of: "What?? You want me to have a job, perform basic hygiene, not ask for sex on the first date, AND remember your birthday?? That's just SO MUCH WORK."

The worst of this I find is when I'm just doing normal things to take care of myself and my EX used to say the same thing. It was news to me to find out basic self care was "high maintenance" and suggesting the same for him was me nagging.
