I really don’t get why some women can’t understand why patriarchy exists. Do they think it’s just some coincidence that men across all cultures and ethnicities have oppressed women, specifically, for millennia?

Patriarchy exists because of women’s reproductive abilities. It’s not because men just all came together one day and collectively decided to be mean to women.

Humans are a sexually reproducing species. Regardless of what individuals may consciously want (to have or not have kids) our genes still want to propagate themselves.

But if women were allowed to do the choosing, many men would have to face elimination from the next generations gene pool.

Patriarchy exists as a system to allow as many men as possible to have sexual access to as many women as possible (whilst women are prevented from having wider sexual access to men, in order for men to ensure their own paternity). Thats why so many men’s status is wrapped up in how many women they can sleep with & impregnate.

If early humans were in a more equal society that did not have monogamy it would make sense that men would have to give a damn/ try to pass on their genetics. I think that the patriarchy is why the men with poor genes and personalities have been allowed to proliferate.

As a girl, I was shocked to learn about this. I have been raised in this spirit, THE MEN are this, THE MEN are that, we women need to listen, men all around the world complaining how their wife "doesn't listen to them". What? First of all, those are the men that can't even keep a promise they made to their wife and they seem fine with it. But when their wife wants to do something in her way, woah woah woah burn her down, right? I had so much men tell me that, women are for cooking, cleaning, etc, and that they are not "made" for higher and more responsible positions at a company, such as CEO etc. But when you ask them WHY, they don't have the explanation. They can't even give you 1 argument, they stutter, are confused, and just repeat the same ol' "Well it's always been that way, besides we are just better at everything". But, it's not their problem, they are simply raised like that, to think they are smarter than some "women", women are too emotional bla bla bla... In their eyes, we are strong but they are stronger. We are smart but they are smarter, we are something but they are something better. I never understood quite -why- am I supposed to stay home, clean, wait for my husband to do anything... My mother tried to raise me to be like her, to keep my mouth shut, to never let a men clean anything, as it's a woman's job. And I hated it. When I found out the truth, it all made sense. I am still angry now, because people don't understand this, and how would they, you can never read about this, anywhere, you can't hear it on the TV, so why would anybody believe me. But because of it, I just started asking those people, when I hear that "Men are smarter and more capable and responsible" I simply ask "Why?" "Are we all as children of God, equal in his eyes?" They are confused. They don't know to answer

It's absolutely true.

Women were meant to be the leaders, the matriarchs. We would decide who was fit to breed with us.

Men are not fit to lead. They have enslaved women and destroyed our planet with their uncontrollable rage and need to hump everything like an unneutered dog. They simply can't control their emotions (anger, envy, pride.)

They were meant to protect us, the matriarchs and our offspring from predatory animals and contribute labour for the gift of continuing their DNA via said offspring.

Now that any POS LVM can breed our genetic pool is dirty with men that want to hurt and destroy women. Men weren't meant to have to protect us from other men. They have made it that way.

Evolutions thrives on female choice. We do the selecting for creating the next generation.

This biological imperative was stolen from us by the patriarchy, when fathers started to sell their daughters into forced marriages and even when marriage was invented to make sure all the men who would not be selected freely by women have access to at least one.

If we want to get the species ahead it is high time to become as selective as possible.

Demand what I and every woman around me deserves, always. Full stop, no compromises. This world has been built around seeing women as less than human. So I don’t fucking let them. EVER. If I see it happening outside of myself, I do what I can too. I am relentless about it. Any opportunity I can to lift up my sisters I take. Any opportunity to throw oppressive efforts back in the face of men, I do.

You know what happens when you do this? You end up with an incredible circle of loving, empathetic, and intelligent people. I live and breathe FDS and can confidently say I am happier and more fulfilled than I have ever been, and I will never go back or change my standards. My partner is wonderful, my friends are wonderful, my colleagues are wonderful. Because I don’t bother with less. It’s so easy to weed people out when you set the standard, and it ain’t hopeless out there. There are so many amazing people in this world, those are the ones we gotta surround ourselves with.

Stop giving time, energy, and sexual access to people that don’t view women as the sentient, independent, incredible creatures that they are and we’ll make a much better world for our daughters. That’s really what it boils down to for me. I want to raise loving sons, I want my daughters to be valued more than I have been. That shit can only happen if we demand more.

I used to look at tiktok a lot before jumping on reddit. I used to follow one young girl (17) who had some tragic thing happen to her and was trying to spread awareness and help people (don't remember what it was but I admired her). Until she started doing these posts asking different questions. One was about her not believing that the patriarchy existed and to provide examples. Literally had thousands of people (mostly women) telling her all kinds of things. Didnt see her listen or comment to any of them. Her next post I saw was what made me unfollow her because I realized she's just ignorant at that point. She had done a stitch that she thought showed her stance on abortion (she was against it) but the original video was showing how if men had to deal with pregnancy that it would be widely available. She also listed " facts" in her video that a 2 second Google search proved false. I commented on both videos. One of her followers started trying to argue when I said she needed to fact check before posting her ignorance. Asked for proof. I told them to Google it like I did. She obviously comes from a privileged background but it made me so mad because so many tried to educate her just for her to continue posting bullshit. She's a prime example of internalized misogyny and the patriarchy at work and was too blind to see it. Sad thing is when I was last on she had over 200k followers🙄

Exactly! I’ve always felt in my gut that it is the truth. Women are inherently more powerful and more resilient than men and were created to lead and rule the world. Men are created to help and serve women. They’re tools. You can find many examples of this in nature too. Plus the older men get the more they agree that this is the truth of life. Like wiser men will agree with what I just said and they understand that they’re nothing in comparison to women in terms of inner power. It’s only the stupid young ones that will argue and accuse me being anti-men. The world is not operating on its original mode. Women are wolves 🐺they need to reclaim their inner power. This world should revolve around women.

Am currently in the nightmare of a lVM refusing to pay child support even though I have 100% physical custody for the last decade, thanks to " feminists" the court system now punishes mothers by letting the father financially off the hook , oh you're a woman, you should be self supporting AND pay/ do 100 % of the childcare cooking cleaning ect ect . It's awful.
