Ugh this happened to me the other day. I live in a big city and the guy lived in a smaller town just outside the city. He asked where I wanted to meet and I said the center of my city (easy to get to by train) and he was like "so... do we HAVE to meet in [city]? 😅" I ignored him and he sent a voice message saying that he was only asking because he usually liked to go for walks in the forest and did I have a car? I replied "I don't have a car" and ignored his messages.

It's just lazy. Like I am meeting many people I don't have time to travel to a piddly town for a dude who will most likely be a disappointment. If you want me make an effort. If not, goodbye

It is SO easy to get into Manhattan from Williamsburg! Reminds me of two guys in the past who were both "too busy" to meet me consistently even though they lived 10 minutes away.
