I was just thinking about this today. So many guys that I’ve dated have said something to me along the lines of “wow, you know you I think you might be a lot smarter than you let on / you’re actually pretty smart aren’t you?” As if it’s so shocking to them that a woman would be intelligent. Like no shit, you fucking potato.

Just anecdotally, I meet so many dumb ass men in my day to day life (aka at work) who are in fairly advanced roles yet do an absolutely terrible job, ignore emails, don’t know even the basics about the department/product they’re in charge of, their presentations are unprepared and sound like garbage. Yet whenever I meet a woman in the same role (very rare) she comes across as far more knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Why do men consistently get given these roles that women consistently do a much better job at?! WHY WHY WHY. I can guarantee you if I ignored emails and conducted a zoom presentation like they do I’d get fired on the spot yet these dickheads consistently get away with it.

There's no doubt in my mind from all the information available today that women invented pretty much all important things, from languages to food preparation, building shelter, etc.

It's so funny to me how they celebrate apes and aspire to be more apelike.

They marvel at how "natural" and biologically sound it is to mate with as many "young and fertile" females as possible because that's what are ape brethren do 😍. And they yearn to apply that to human social dynamics because it's natural and just sound biology. But why not dive in fully if you like the lifestyle so much? Like there are baby primates that suckle on males nipples, not for milk but for comfort. Why isn't stuff like that discussed by dudebros with ape aspirations. Is that not natural and biological? Should we be throwing poop at each other? Like fully commit or pick a new animal to romanticize. Weirdos.

Somewhat of a tangent but I love those documentaries on the birds of paradise. Like, even these little birds know they gotta work hard to get a woman, showing off their colours and strength by dancing, building her a beautiful bower.... LVM really be putting in less effort than a damn bird.

the preferred patriarchal narrative is that women were lying around helpless and ignorant, men went out together, heroically hunted game, went and invented language by cooperating in order to hunt said game, and then *traded* the game for sex from women.

the more I learn, the more I think it was women who were foraging together, chatting away happily, bringing in 90% of the caloric intake of the tribe, and the men saw this, got pissed off at women ignoring them and creating a culture centered around mothers and children, and snatched the food away to redistribute as they saw fit and took sex forcefully as well just like they do with everything.

When I hear guys going on about nature like this, I think of how Homo sapiens outlasted the bigger, stronger, larger-brained Neanderthals because being the weaker species forced us to create more advanced tools and big group hunting strategies and exist in much larger cohesive social groups to survive.

Part of this larger group strategy was fatherhood, males taking an active role in providing for and protecting children and pregnant/nursing females. So it’s interesting that so many men want to go back to the ape behavior of seeking multiple mates, while also abandoning parental duties and collective aspects of certain ape social groups.

In intelligent animals, survival of the species isn’t just about passing on your individual genes, it’s also passing on your collective knowledge to the new generation. Other than the HVM out there, it seems fewer males have the desire to help with this aspect of species survival, probably because they can’t get off from that.

And yet many incels and similar types see us as this inferior sub-species, when if that were really true, if(when?) we find a way to reproduce without them, we could very likely outlast or outcompete them the same way Homo sapiens did to Neanderthals.
