I had a guy who was really into me, but because his bros were jealous of the fact that a woman of my 'caliber' (as he put it) was showing interest back, they talked him out of dating me. His 'bros' approval was everything, so he ended up going the other way....

He learned his lesson about his buddies after the fact, when they found girls that would put up with them and left him single and on his own.

Real talk. I’ve stopped trying to “understand” because there really is nothing to understand.

It seems like these fools just continue to “correct” or “validate” to keep everyone including other men in the status quo and avoid change. Like, they wouldn’t want their “boy” to be out with an amazing woman because it would disrupt their status quo or group they’ve built for themselves.
