Whew. Thank you for saying this. There is nothing cute about explaining how you’re above “low effort dates” or you only accept this or that. Talk with your actions, not your text messages. He is not going to magically see the light because of your speech, and you didn’t accomplish anything by setting him straight. LVM gonna low value regardless.

HVW who truly command respect don’t explain themselves; they just don’t engage with people who don’t give them what they want.

And they are not then expecting other HVW to spend time reading, analyzing, and complaining about interactions with these LVM.

I actually enjoy seeing the stupid messages men send; it makes it easier to learn how to spot a LVM tactic. Maybe we can put them under a separate flair so if you don’t want to see them, you can filter them out?

Let’s learn from each other. The absolute worst thing that can happen when you give a LVM a chance to turn his behavior around is that he does and now you are dating a LVM who will still be a LVM 6 months from now when he ghosts you after getting you pregnant.

This! I don't mind an hilarious rebuttal for the laughs but going back and forward wasting time arguing or demanding respect from LVM even if already a small victory for former pickmeisha is not according to the FDS principles.

They don't care, they won't change, LVM don't deserve you wasting time and energy arguing, especially if you barely know them.

No kidding. Same thing with exes or former hookups. Sending him “witty” or “sassy” responses only shows him he still has a strong hold on your emotions. After sex, that’s probably the one thing men get off on, knowing they can still get a response out of you. I have been guilty of this. I totally appreciate being called out since I’m so new to FDS every mistake is an opportunity to learn. I forgot how valuable it is to use my time and energy on myself and on empowering other women.

Kinda bummed people are so against them. Maybe it's cus I don't need too much extra coaching/clarification otherwise since I already knew / followed many of the principles laid out in the "handbook" but like...after a hard day at work it's nice to just laugh. sigh.
