My last relationship every argument eventually went back to how I sucked. Our decline started when I stopped him and said “enough blame game. I’m not the only one who ever does anything wrong.”

And I wasn’t. Did I do everything right? No. Did I deserve to be berated every time I raised an issue? Also no. One sided work wasn’t ok.

I'm pretty aware these trash men were raised like kings by their pickmeisha and how society cut way too many slacks when it comes to their shitty behavior. But I have a responsibility with myself, and my future offspring, to keep my standards high. Enough with "hurr durr what do you bring to the table?" because I'm not even sitting with them. Enough with the emotional catering, potential projects, parenting relationships. No more hesitating to tell them that yes, they're unattractive, immature and their kiss is terrible. Stop thinking I'm bad girlfriend for not reaching out to them for validation, when in fact I just grew out of my anxious/insecure attatchment. No more debating over topics which are just common sense. So yeah, one can't make a change in the world, but I'm capable of proving every man in my life that trying me is a bad decision so they might shape the fuck up or get the fuck off.

I do agree that we, as women, should and have every right to call each other out for our bad choices in men because that’s the only way for us to level up.

However, it always annoys me when it’s MEN commenting on issues women have had with men with the classic line “she should have chosen better”. Like, victim blaming isn’t exactly going to make you sound like a better choice, Steven. Also it’s like blaming women for trying to avoid trash, knowing 99% of them ARE actually trash soooo...

I’m actually getting sick of the “tell men to be better” argument too though. Men give zero fucks. It has to start from birth and even then most media (ex porn) has to be restarted or eradicated.
