My baby’s dad and I have been broken up for 8 months and he STILL brings up all the ways I “ruined” our relationship as an excuse and justification for his lack of financial support and emotional abuse. I'm pretty aware these trash men were raised like kings by their pickmeisha and how society cut way too many slacks when it comes to their shitty behavior. But I have a responsibility with myself, and my future offspring, to keep my standards high. Enough with "hurr durr what do you bring to the table?" because I'm not even sitting with them. Enough with the emotional catering, potential projects, parenting relationships. No more hesitating to tell them that yes, they're unattractive, immature and their kiss is terrible. Stop thinking I'm bad girlfriend for not reaching out to them for validation, when in fact I just grew out of my anxious/insecure attatchment. No more debating over topics which are just common sense. So yeah, one can't make a change in the world, but I'm capable of proving every man in my life that trying me is a bad decision so they might shape the fuck up or get the fuck off.

Truth of the matter is, if you find a misogynist or even a guy who doesn’t respect women or see them as lesser they will never take you serious or listen, guys are the ones who need to tell other guys to be better, we’re powerful rn so our only option is to 1) avoid all the men 2) find the needle in the haystack. I did an internship at an overwhelmingly predominantly Latino HS, and the girls were always telling me that their brothers got to do whatever they wanted while mom and sister waited on him and sister got to be the only one to help with housework and cooking.

Yea really pissed me off growing up with a mother that didn’t understand or see a problem in me having to the chores and help out with everything literally clean their fucking rooms while they did nothing. I was like wtf this is so unfair. Anyways fast forward and both of my brothers are lvm so useless they don’t know how to do basic stuff and they don’t even care to learn it’s pathetic. My one brother and his gf are having a baby and I’m honestly praying for that baby cause the girl is just as lazy and gross as him.

My theory on this is that the mothers form a bond with their son so desperately because their own partner/husband has abandoned her emotionally. So now she is doing "pick me" shit with her own son - which actually permanently infantalises him and thus ruining and destroying his potential to be a good man

I had two elderly aunts growing up who used to grumble about the mother-son dynamic as it had stymied their own lives. This was way back in the '70s. Nothing has changed.

They are basically admitting there is not enough good men to go round (with no accountability/desire to change that), that the majority of men do not behave in a favourable way to women or children (hence why we are at higher risk to domestic violence/rape/stalking/murder from intimate male partners).... so some women are bound to end up under the bus, 6feet under the ground or finding themselves in broken unhappy homes regardless of choices. What they EXPECT of us is submission- settling for some bottom rank scrote so he has less OPTIONS to cheat (but will still get insecure/controlling & cheat/leech off us anyway). What we give them INSTEAD is a giant MIDDLE FINGER on behalf of all the women they have oppressed over centuries WORLDWIDE & persistent falling birth rates. I am not going down without a fight suckers- you're not claiming me like you did the last generations

I do agree that we, as women, should and have every right to call each other out for our bad choices in men because that’s the only way for us to level up.
