I dated a guy with a moderately deep voice but when he laughed it was a shrill cackle and nasally at the same time. I was so startled he took one look at my expression and straight up left the cafe.

I can't be with a man with a terrible laugh because I'm so hilarious 🤷‍♀️ It wouldn't work out.

Despite the humor it’s true. A lot of guys seem to have “dad bod” sprouting little fleshy breasts. They look soft and doughy. Like all they do is jerk off to rape porn, eat and drink junk all day, never get outside, lurk on feminist forums and play idiotic videos games….and the pot smoking. All of that combined must lower testosterone.

When the "satire" sounds too real. Check out "Coach Greg" Doucette on YT for one of the most ridiculous voices you'll hear. In his case I'm pretty sure it's steroid use related. He's also a big scrote so it checks out lmao

I'm in my fifties and yes younger men don't look as masculine. Not the clothes but the build, lack of chins.

I actually don't mind bald, but men are getting bald younger. I am on zoom calls sometimes with over 100 people most of them young enough to be my kids. The young women generally look fine, but the guys look a good ten years older superficially. It's like they have a slower form of progress-rapid aging disease. I think the processed food lifestyle is damaging the telomeres in their DNA. It mpacts us of course, but we try to extend our youth because of the patriarchy. But men never have to change.

I've noticed that many of my fellow 30s millennial men have vocal fry (and apparently haven't been bullied about it the way women have).

They also tend to own a skateboard and a guitar.

Wow, never thought of this but now I’m realizing my worst ex’s had feminine voices. They were the ones who acted like bratty toddlers when things didn’t go their way. (I adore toddlers and get upset how little patience people seem to have with with them because their behavior is developmentally appropriate… but it’s a very different story for man in his 20’s.) They had an “if I can’t have it no one will!” attitude and tried to tarnish my reputation after the relationship ended. They purposely tried to push me out of friend groups that I was in first. They literally didn’t know how to share and would whine if all my attention didn’t go to them. They had the energy of Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka.

My only respectable HV ex had a very deep voice. He was extremely polite and I’d even say he was charming, but his voice was loud, deep and really commanded attention. I don’t know how to describe it but when you talked to him you knew you weren’t gonna get one over on him. A manly voice like that comes with power and confidence. My current boyfriend is more quiet, but still has an extremely deep voice. For NYE he came to my parents house (I wanted to spend the holiday with my 3 sisters) and we all love to play the game Rock Band. We decided to make him be the singer. He was mortified when he was booed off the stage 30 seconds into the song. I’ll probably end up reading him this post later to make him feel better hahaha

I actually knew a really decent guy who had a ridiculously high pitched voice. Granted I never dated him so I didn't see that side of him, I did know him fairly well and he was a good dude IMO.

While it's not something I find attractive in a man, I haven't personally noticed a correlation between high pitched voices and being LV (though, I'll be paying attention now lol) I think it just depends on the person.

Come to think of it, I did know one pretty toxic dude who had a feminine voice. Maybe that's why he became so toxic lmao. I'm 1-1 on this.

First of all, what the even is submissive feminine energy? Feminine energy is anything but submissive, more similar to that of an employer with expectations than anything.

Men that mimick female voices for whatever reason give me the creeps. As do men that deliberately deepen their voices.

I disagree that the absence of masculine qualities makes a man a bad partner necessarily. A man who is short/of scrawny build/with a feminine voice/balding is just that - a short, balding man with a scrawny build and feminine voice. For some women, any of the four is unattractive. For most women I guess some of the four are unattractive, others not. For me personally, I find baldness unattractive, actively prefer scrawny guys and don't mind the rest.
