I mean, I have an 11 year old. He looks eleven. His friends look eleven. The kids in his class look eleven. I’ve never seen an eleven year old that you wouldn’t at least ASK and MAKE SURE they are able to consent. This is disgusting. I was 12 when I started a relationship with my 19YO boyfriend, online. His mother defended our relationship. Sexting (it was called cybering at the time), phone sex, pictures - video sex when webcams became a thing.

I was 16 when he wanted me back and I told him that what he'd done was wrong, it wasn't love, and he was a pedophile. His friends rallied around him and called me a slut and told me I was ruining his life.

I was 18 when I saw a picture of myself at 12 and finally cemented in my brain that I WAS A CHILD AND NOT AT FAULT.
