His ex Carol Harris (the one after Stevie) wrote a pretty shocking book about him called “Storms.” The gist was he was a coke-addled egomaniac abuser. The book is a pretty juicy page-turner if you like the celebrity spill-all genre.

I love her so much!! “Dreams” in juxtaposition to “ go your own way” just shows how much of a witchy woman she is. They are different sides of the same breakup within the band if you don’t know the history. One song is a woman cleansing herself after a storm and becoming stronger, the other song is a man whining because the woman does what she wants to do. Also the line in his song “packing up....shacking ups all you wanna do” was added to make It seem as if Stevie nicks was sleeping around. She talks about it in interviews.
I just absolutely love the Rumors album and I wish Stevie Nicks was my god mother.

No but surrounding yourself with women is actually an excellent fucking strategy. Distract yourself from dating at all and focus on those actual relationships you have, with women who aren’t always trying to find ways to manipulate you when you spend time together. My closest female friendships (and romantic ships) have been much more emotionally fulfilling than what men have had to offer.

I find that dressing a little weird, but not stereotypically weird, keeps men from noticing me that much. I play with color and pattern and focus on it more like an art project to please myself. I wear a lot of vintage but I don’t often sex it up like the rockabilly girls do.
And I wear whatever I want even if I haven’t shaved (if I’m not dating someone then I only shave about once a month).

I think it's fine to go through phases of not wanting to be attractive to men, or even some days. I have an outfit that seems to add 5 kgs around my middle. I wear it when I have to have meetings with the creepy guy who makes inappropriate sexual comments but I let it slide because he is on the autism spectrum, I still know I look good naked. There's something freeing about knowing "this outfit makes me look fat" and choosing to wear it anyway.

My mom was at an after party once after a concert. When stevie arrived, her people came in first and made sure there was a separate room available for her to hang out in and no other women were allowed. Apparently, that was the norm for her and when she did meet or greet fans before and after shows, she only addressed guys.
So yeah, I'm sure she maybe said this but also, she's full of shit.
