Can we stop the assumptions? Especially when they are based primarily on shared memes or rants from less active people who came to FDS for the wrong reasons?

FDS does NOT hate men. FDS does not tolerate LVM, abusive behaviors, or the status quo. This does NOT equate to hating men.

I get it. It's uncomfortable for you to be challenged when for so long you have gotten on by just being. It's new and at first unpleasant to become self aware and turn inwards to examine your unconscious or internalized misogyny and privilege.

FDS isn't what you think. It isn't saying you need to have an 8 pack, be 7ft tall, and a Trillionaire to be High Value. It's saying you need to take care of yourself, put work into yourself, bring more to the table of life than just rolling out of bed bleary eyed, rank breath, and confused why someone didn't make you breakfast. Because, truth be told...that is what FDS is trying to do...level up as women, in a safe women-only space. We want to be the best versions of ourselves. Furthermore, we want to be in happy, healthy relationships with like-minded people who also want to be the best versions of themselves.

Now, you can respond with all of the criticism you want saying that women only want tall, handsome, wealthy men or whatever. But maybe that is just your anecdotal experience and not all women fit into this little box want to generalize them all to.

FDS does not hate men. We have fathers, brothers, friends, sometimes even sons. We love them dearly when it is a healthy, reciprocal relationship. And sometimes, we even love them when it's not. But that's detrimental to us. It's dangerous to us. FDS is about feeling secure enough in yourself, being about to take care of yourself, being able to recognize when you are being mistreated and choosing the best options for a healthy, happy life.

It may not be comfortable, this sense of self-awareness in women. Their boundaries that push back against your wants and desires in favor of their own. I get that. You can stomp us out here on Reddit with petitions, pleas, reports, etc. That is fine. But you cannot stomp out the flame that is FDS. We have taken hold of the agency in our lives. We will work towards our goals despite the objection from others who want to maintain the status quo.
