Seriously why?

Men cheat way more often than women and often do it in much more nefarious/callous ways that almost always put multiple people in danger or even ruin their lives just for self centered harem/porno sex.

They spread STDs and unwanted pregnancies like no tomorrow and leave behind children that ultimately will never get the full care they deserve.

The worst part is when they do all of that awful shit it's just to bust a nut for 5 seconds and/or abuse their gf/spouse who also gets blamed for his behavior more than he does.

Yet when they do it it's seen as a sad joke most of the time or just something that's normal/encouraged? They almost never face consequences for it and sometimes even get a pat on the back by their bros.

Also I'm talking about men here because when women do the same thing they get socially ostracized immediately and almost never have their actions excused to the same degree. The male partner is also never blamed the same way a female partner is and is nearly always pitied. (Which he should be, but so should women who get cheated on.)

Then from the betrayed woman's perspective it's such a slap in the face when you get cheated on and people just dismiss it as what men do or even worse flat out blame you for it. The cheater always merrily walks away blithely unbothered by the damage he's caused or thinks you owe him more chances because he's been brainwashed into thinking it's his god given right to screw as many women as he wants while keeping you to himself no matter how you feel about it.

Their behavior isn't even remotely benign and is extremely damaging on a widespread level, so why do people seem to accept/encourage it? The term "player" is even given to them as some kind of compliment. Like it's a good thing. 🙄
