I just had to get this off my chest. Gentlemen, any of these posts that you see saying not to talk about your personal lives, especially at work, are accurate. I was one of the skeptics, but I get it now. Do not talk about MGTOW or anything that you have accomplished.

Got into a bit of a heated debate with a coworker today about lifestyle choices. Basically the point of his argument was that it didn't matter how much I accomplished. Since he has a girlfriend and a kid, his life is guaranteed to be better than mine. It doesnt matter that I have a house, or a lot of money, I will just die alone and my life will mean nothing.

This made me realise: this is my reputation at work. A spoiled rich kid that has a problem with women. And what's worse is that this is all from me talking. I was honest about my abstaining from women and my reasons, and it was a mistake.

If I could go back in time, I would not tell people that I bought a house in cash at 20, and I would not tell them that I am MGTOW. For the sake of my job, I wish I could take it back.

There is NOTHING to gain from telling people about yourself. At the least, they will resent you, and at worst, cause problems with your employment.

I can't tell anybody here how to go their own way. But please, think before you speak. Be a grey man, or get stuck doing damage control like me.

EDIT: There have been a lot of really good, well thought out responses here. I will try to respond to as many as I can.
