I don't even try to read these articles anymore, because every time I do, I never hear about PROOF of anything, barely even a third-party witness. The employers, terrified of even the slightest whiff of scandal, take everything to 11 and destroy based on accusation alone. This is so very clearly a witch hunt, and like all witch hunts there's always a handful of people guilty of something, but a far greater number of innocents who are taken out because people will personal beefs use the hunt to accuse the people they don't like, knowing they can be destroyed easily.

This hunt is going to have far-reaching implications, because we all know that the reason a witch hunt ends is because someone important or powerful enough (who was content to watch from the sidelines) will get accused, and then they basically use their power and influence to shut the thing down. It doesn't get shut down peacefully either, expect a BIG punitive action which sets an example for any other would-be accuser that the game is over.

Of course, because MGTOW aren't in the game, we're insulated to a degree, but never assume you're immune because logic and reason don't come into this. In the end, when the smoke clears and the people start looking around asking 'what the hell happened?', what we represent will have a lot more credence with the average American, ESPECIALLY the average American man.

Do not offend or talk any personal matters at office with women. Take extra guard at office. Be careful and be wary of female advances. To me this story is about Matt Lauer being thrown to the wolves for the crime of partaking in what was clearly a "lax" culture behind the scenes at NBC. I don't even like Lauer, the guy is a douche, and some of what he is accused of doing is shitty, but he didn't do it in a vacuum.

Not only is this apparently the ONLY complaint for Lauer's behavior in 20 YEARS, but it's being reported that most of his workplace dalliances were CONSENSUAL. Also the Variety article that broke the story claims that two months of investigative work, with dozens of interviews, went into writing it, yet the "detailed complaint" that took Lauer down was only filed MONDAY.

It's almost as if the complainant knew this piece was being published this week, as if they were in cohoots with journalists in a coordinated effort to destroy someone that they didn't like.

Lauer isn't innocent here (that tape of him appraising Katie Couric's tits in her sweater is damning), but something stinks.

Her story was that fellow anchor Charles Payne raped her and terrorized her continuously for two years, keeping her as his virtual sex slave. All other evidence is that they had a consensual affair for that time. Just perhaps he is an evil psychopathic sex monster, but in all likelihood this is a classic false rape story.

The story even gives a clue as to how this got started.

And it was literal bruising inflicted by Payne in late spring 2015 that finally prompted Hughes’ husband Chris to ask her what was going on.

Her husband saw some bruises from her sex with Payne, and rather than admit to her adultery she made some spur-of-the-moment rape story up. Then, unable to admit her falsehood, she just kept digging herself deeper and deeper.

There's no comments on this story at the feminism reddit so far, so perhaps even they suspect this is bullshit.
