The 2% figure has no statistical backing. The 8-10% figure is accusations that are provably false, with about the same amount of accusations being provably true. The remaining ~80% sits in the grey "we don't know" category. Given the ease of making accusations and the social and legal benefits for doing so, I'd be surprised if the provable ones were the only ones. That said, we can't know for sure what the true figure is.

I don’t think it’s possible to give exact numbers because a lot of cases won’t have evidence either way.

That said I work in the security industry and since November 2021 I’ve been in the control room. Part of my job is to be a cctv operator.

Ive handled footage reviews for more than 40 sexual assault allegations. The site I work on is heavily covered by cameras, there’s almost 800 cameras here so nothing happens without being picked up.

Of those allegations only one has been genuine. Ive had similar experiences working in nightclubs. Cctv rarely backs up the woman’s version of events. For that reason I’d have to expect the true number to be way higher than 2%. Although I’m fairly sure most of the genuine allegations also happen in places with less ability to provide evidence.

I was falsely accused of sexual harassment by a woman so hideously ugly I can’t imagine why anyone would ever want to fuck her much less me. I hade zero respect for her since she spent most of the time complaining about her pot head husband. She would repeatedly make stupid comments, to which I would try and respond without sounding like an ass, ie brutal honest answers like

“you married, a guy who worked in a restaurant kitchen was a complete and total pothead, who is a serial sex addict and cheated on you before you got married. I think you should have left him before he nocked you up three times, you have gotten exactly what you deserve. You should expect to get nothing in the divorce because he has nothing and he never will. You should expect to work your ass off for rest of your life as a single mother.”

“You should also stop complaining that you want a man like you dad. One who will just take care of you and your kids because women like you have serially destroyed them for the last 50 years.”

Wail trying to come up with a slightly nicer more politically correct answer for her. I would frequently looked down at the floor and grab the bridge of my nose, while I thought about how to reply. Apparently she misinterpreted this as me trying to constantly look at her boobs.

I will admit, it is kind of hard to not look at her boobs if you even looked in her general direction because she was would have been well endowed even if she had been skinny. I had zero attraction to her in any way. I made a comment to a coworker once that “it’s no wonder her husband had to smoke pot all the time. If I was forced to live with her, I would probably look for an escape too.”

somehow I ended up being the one defend myself in a sexual harassment case against her. I really wanted to tell the HR administrator how I really felt about her, but then I would’ve been in even more trouble.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I was the third guy she had accused of sexual harassment. I got lucky I didn’t get fired or demoted over it. The other two were not so lucky.

I should state that I have no problem with the idea of women having rights EQUAL to men. But By equal I really mean equal.

She would complain about working in a male dominated physical field (mining). But then turn around and complain about there being no real men like her father left.

I explained to her that society doesn’t necessarily get to have it both ways. Society doesn’t get to keep strict traditional male roles wail destroying traditional female roles. They are interrelated because of the socio-economic conditions of our society. That doesn’t make it a zero sum game either . just because women get more rights it doesn’t necessarily mean men have to lose rights. As long as women are willing to accept that additional responsibility comes with their additional rights then everything remains fine.

I.e. you get to register for the selective service too ladies. Don’t expect a man to provide you with a house and a new car just because he’s the guy you actually have to pay an equal amount for everything in the household or provide services equal to that. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be how society has interpreted things.

From large studies I've read, more than 1 in 5 cases of rape/sexual assault/etc reported to police are actually marked with the status: "Closed as informational report". This means that the person reporting the case believed that a crime had been committed. However, the police and lawyers looked at the report, and judged that no criminal activity had occurred. This is the Aziz Ansari case, basically.

So that's 20% of cases right there that are false accusations, since ignorance of the law is not a valid excuse for lying. Especially when the accuser decides to go public with their claims instead of properly reporting them to the police (which unfortunately happens in the majority of cases in this era of social media). Combine that 20% figure with the up to 10% who are actually forced to admit they are lying, and then add in the large percentage who simply aren't believed over the course of investigation/trial (for example, Amber Heard), and it's reasonable to say that of 100 accusations made, one can expect approximately 70 or more to be false in some manner or other.

That's a huge number. And it is far bigger than anyone will admit to, because no one wants to be called an "istaphobe" of some type for trying to look at the numbers objectively. But that's what it is, when you accept the fact that human beings are very often dishonest, even deluding themselves in many cases.

Also, this may sound a bit extreme, but I maintain that over half of the men alive today have been the victim of a false accusation at some point in their lives. However, most do not even know it has happened to them, because it's all done via the whisper network and malicious rumours being spread about them behind their backs. So the accusations are there in the suspicious sidelong glances from coworkers, or the sudden ghosting from friends, or the family infighting that seems to spring from nowhere, but the true source of that distrust remains unknown to most guys.

Many years ago, after breaking off a relationship with an X girlfriend, I was falsely accused. She was so angry at getting dumped, she wanted to teach me a lesson. Lots of women use the state as their personal violence proxy against men. One can't trust statistics manipulated by feminists and progressives, aka socialists.

Wikipedia actually cites a number of the notable studies. You will note these range from assuming only proven false accusation are untrue to as high as 90%.

I’ve read a number of these studies and all the ones I’ve read were so limited in scope that I think it’s hard to claim they are necessarily representative. The Kanin study estimating a bit over 40% is probably one of the better ones, but it has its flaws.

Many studies have shown that the large majority of domestic violence cases are mutual. So, I'd imagine they are very close in numbers, to what women report. If not, then more. In many cases I know of, if men reported, they are often the ones charged. While there are outliers, that's what I'd be willing to bet.

Happened to me everything from dv to SA by 8 women in my life. When I say that to woke people they say what did I do to deserve it... my answer is I spoke about the first instance and the horde came for me because it challenged their narratives they want to believe. Queue 7 more. Bring it TF on. Isn't it interesting when one woman accuses a celebrity a dozen more pile on. Is it always true? Do you think so do you or is it false accusers banding together to give their horseshit story more credibility. We've seen this around every politician and celebrity. That's how metoo works. It's a dog pile. Female dog pile. I'm not saying there's not serial bad guys. I'm saying that conversely, there are serial bad girls and, that statistically speaking, statistics are bs arrived to with an desired outcome via sampling methodology size and questions (which further illustrates systemic discrimination against men and boys).

Probably 30-60%.

All stats on sexual assault, false reporting, underreporting, and so forth, should be taken with a huge grain of salt, because there is so much repression of accurate ways to measure/interpret the data, and so much institutional support of misleading ways to measure/interpret the data.

It makes sense that the number probably swings higher the more informal the fact-finding and punishment processes are, and dips lower the more investment and accountability is required of the accuser.

It's probably massive when the accusations are relayed by third parties rather than alleged victims themselves.

We will never know the true statistics regarding sexual violence or domestic violence, or false allegations of these crimes.

You can easily argue that, “well from my experience and from the experiences of those I’ve read online, the number should be higher.” Do you think someone that actually committed these acts would admit it? If they have the broken moral compass enough to do these acts, then accusing their victim is really not out of the question.

Same with someone who lies about others committing these crimes. If they can lie to the police, to those around them, in articles, then why would they tell the truth on socials? They wouldn’t, they would just stick to their story.

SA in particular is a very difficult thing to present evidence of to police. It often boils down to a he said- she said, and the case is closed. We’ll never know which side was telling the truth.

There have been studies in this subject. If I recall correctly the false accusation rate runs from about 40% to 95% (it obviously won't be that neat of course) depending on which studies you accept as valid. The higher end of that came from a single study in the US Airforce shortly after they announced a policy of promoting any woman who made that sort of allegation, in order to 'smooth over the difficulty' and make sure that they didn't get sued. While anyone with an understanding of incentives could tell you what would happen after that apparently that was beyond America's Generals, oh well, it is what it is. The probable rate of false accusations is almost certainly towards the lower end of that range, I'd be surprised if it was much higher or lower than 50%. As I said incentive structures definitely affect how people (even women, OMG who would have thought it, am I right?!?!?!?!) make decisions and act.

If you think about it, this is impossible to know. How would you even design a study to capture that data? We can't know if any given accusation is true or false, let alone sincere or lie.

Its hard to report a false accusation when the police are one sided and are directed to beleive the woman version of events.
Even to the point of asking the folowing.

Does he give you money when you need it?

Do you have your a own bank account?

does he yell?

does he do the housework?

They do not even contact or ask the male about there version of events and will go ahead and get a court order.

as for statistics i would suggest NSW in Australia would be extremely under reported unless your lucky enough to have evidence of you being innocent. I dont think people walk around taking evidence of things they havent done.

2-10% is literally just taken out of thin air and made up on the spot. I'd say false rape accusations are just as common as rape. I would even go farther and say that false rape accusations are an act of rspe in and of itself because it encourages others (especially prison gangs) to rape the falsely accused physically AND it rapes the man's reputation
