It's so appalling to me all these spite-filled comments by women about male bodily autonomy in light of the recent Texas bill. Things like "if men's bodily autonomy was violated we'd never hear the end of it". Or "men have never had their bodily autonomy taken from them". And many, many, more ridiculous and misinformed spiteful statements, some even going as far to encourage vasectomies. But, what is bodily autonomy, and what is a violation of it? Infant circumcision, which is extremely common in the United States, is that not a violation of bodily autonomy? Where is the supposed outrage against that? Besides a subreddit with a mere 3.5k members as opposed to a population of 300 million. Selective service, very clearly in my eyes a violation of bodily autonomy, only became a huge talking point when it was said women would have to soon be subjected to the same obligations as men. It's so astonishing how ignorant people can be. All the while blaming men for not doing anything. What do you guys think of these comments? Do you feel like there is some sense to what they are saying or is it utter bullshit?
