No, they kept fucking up how evidence was supposed to be handled, and in many cases, were caught red handed doing exactly that. It must be nice to just state things as fact and not have to back it up with any evidence or sources... I wish I could do that. Let me try quick... Yes, it was an accurate depiction of what occurred. I wasn't the one who started making insults... I defended myself. They said I needed a hyperboliectomy, or whatever it was. Meaning, I'm using too much hyperbole, in an insulting fashion. I meant it more as tongue in cheek and sarcastic, than to be purely insulting.

So, if you want to lecture someone about civility. Try doing it to the person who is throwing around insults first. I don't have to sit here and be mocked, especially when it's so easily proven they're wrong. Thus, I didn't even feel sourcing was warranted. Anyone who's spent a day on this sub knows what went down in the UK pertaining to rape convictions and the destruction, or purposeful covering up evidence. It's been posted, I'd imagine, hundreds of times here. So again, didn't feel like I really needed to cite, as it is more or less common knowledge on this sub.

So, you going to admit how badly you were just owned? Or, just not respond and keep believing whatever nonsense it was before I showed you all of this and PROVED it.

Seriously, people like you, are a MAJOR problem in today's social and political climate. You were just completely, 100% shown to be wrong. Instead of saying, oh, I guess I was mistaken and should re-evaluate my position. You stop the discussion by disappearing, and I bet if I go through your post history in a week, you'll still be saying the same stuff, even though you were shown PROOF your position was mistaken. Not only that, you were so sure you were right, you started taking personal jabs at me. What was that word again, I need a hyperboliectomy?

Well, I'd rather need one of those than be so brainwashed that when shown proof I'm wrong, carry on as if it is irrelevant.

There's a deeper reason for why you do this, I hope you are young and just haven't come to this realization yet. A lot of people these days, are tying themeslves, their personality, and the essence of their being, into ideologies and political philosophys. If you admit you are wrong on some of this stuff, you will have to change yourself on a fundamental level, as so much of the core of your being is tied into your ideological beliefs. If you admit you are wrong on even one part of your ideological beliefs, you would have to basically change all the rest that are associated to it.

So, people do what you just did. Ignore it as if it was never said, forget it, and carry on with some of your beliefs that have PROVEN incorrect. I change my mind all the time. It's called being objective, looking at both sides of the argument and not assuming your side had the moral high ground on anything. You should approach ideas with no opinion, you clearly can't do that. I hope you can at some point for us all.

I have been looking across media for some time of evidence of SYSTEMIC destruction of Evidence by POLICE on Sexual offences cases of all types. As I have said - if you have Evidence, point me to it and I will look .... but given how Destruction of evidence is a criminal matter and charges would have to follow I'm sceptical of the evidence you claim to know of!

Ok, so I agree that false accusations occur. But I think... I think I have mathematically proven that false accusations against men necessarily occur less frequently than the number of actual rapes (in general) and raping of women more specifically.

Please, please, please let me know if I got this wrong:

In other words - people accused of rape, whether that accusation be true or false - must necessarily deny the rape occurred. So, by necessity, there are more untrue claims that a rape is a "false accusation" than there are true claims that a rape is a "false accusation," because rapes are, in fact, underreported.

Just to make this clearer, I'm going to put this into a mathematical formula.

TR = True Rape AccusationFR = False Rape AccusationUR = Unreported RapeTD = True DenialFD = False Denial

TRTR+UR = All true RapesTD = All True DenialsTR+FR = TD+FR = All Accusations

That's wrong. If

TR+FR+UR> FD+TD

Then

TR+UR> FD-FR+TD.

You say that a true rape accusation leads to a false denial, and false accusation leads to a true denial. So TR=FD and FR=TD. So

FD+UR> FD-TD+TD, i.e.

FD+UR> FD.

But this does not tell us anything new, since all of the numbers are nonnegative, and hence

FD+UR> FD

is trivial. In fact, the only way that

TR + UR > TD

is if FD=FR, but this would impy that TR=FR (exactly as many true accusations as false accusations), and furthermore TR=TD. This then leads to the trivial conclusion that

TD+UR > TD.

In fact, the whole premise of mathematically proving something like this is flawed. False accusations and true rapes are in no way connected (i.e. you can make a false accusation regardless of whether a rape has occurred), and hence you cannot prove that false accusations (i.e. true denials TD) happen less frequently than all rapes (TR + UR).

So long as all the prior statements are true than the conclusion is true.

That would make it valid, but not proof as you claimed. Also, you do just assert that the number of unreported rapes is greater than zero in your second last step. While this is undoubtedly true of the real world, it then shows that this is not just "true within itself", and you need to look at the real world to get data. You can literally just substitute in numbers to see that it isn't true. Let's say that there is 1 unreported rape, 1 true rape, and 3 false accusations. Your conclusion is then that 1 rape + 1 unreported rape > 3 false accusations, and because 3>1, the conclusion is obviously false. You just don't understand what "mathematically proven" or "necessarily" mean. The reason?

So, by necessity, there are more untrue claims that a rape is a "false accusation" than there are true claims that a rape is a "false accusation," because rapes are, in fact, underreported.

This just doesn't follow at all. The number of unreported rapes is irrelevant to what percentage of rape accusations are true, because unreported rapes aren't rape accusations.

The rate of false reports to police has only been studied four times (McDowell; Buckley; Kanin). All are in agreement that about 40 percent of women who report to police they've been raped can be affirmatively proven to be lying. In the Kanin study, he only coded a report as false if the woman confessed. 40 percent of the women admitted to lying. In the McDowell studies, 20% of complaints admitted they were lying and most of those explained why. Another 20 percent were discovered to by lying based on other evidence. This means the actual rate of false allegations is higher than 40 percent - 40 percent proven liars and an unknown number of other liars for which there is not conclusive evidence to prove they are liars. No study has ever contradicted this. The common citations, like those you see on Wikipedia, are authors that have never investigated any cases to determine if they are false. These authors, like Lisak, are academic frauds that mostly cite each other in an echo chamber of fake data

How about you conversate like an adult and actually come up with something to say instead of insults.
