I read the article - it states many times that he’s innocent, but the main argument against his conviction is that there was reasonable doubt because there was a second suspect.

Did anyone else see where it was proven he was innocent? Not saying he is or isn’t; the article is written as if his overturned conviction is hard proof of 100% innocence.

Corporations aren’t guided by your fellow man. The state officials that outsource incarceration to private companies aren’t your fellow man. The CEO’s of those privatized prisons aren’t your fellow man. Nor are the politicians that receive kick backs for allowing them in their states your fellow man. Nor are the state Capitol politicians who pass laws protecting them and handing them tax breaks your fellow man. The police that view your skin color first above the facts are not your fellow man. Same for the judge that sends you to that private prison.

Eh, nothing that proves he innocent. Just enough reasonable doubt to nullify the conviction. This isnt defending what happened long ago when they hid that a 2nd suspect was interviewed but from reading the article there is no evidence toward that suspect. So as much as this could be righting a wrong it could also be letting a guy who did in fact do it out of prison.
