There are posts about how an insecure guy is fed up that he doesn't have a chance with someone, or how a guy is overall fed up with the luck that he is experienced with dating. I am not defending those that blame all their problems on women, call them "bitches", feel entitled to "pity-sex", and do the same generic nice guy shit that states that they only go for "bad boys". I'm not talking about the entitled, delusional incels.

However, it seems that whenever a guy vents about his frustrations with dating, his lack of luck with women, or him being upset with being disrespected by one (or multiple) women in particular, he is met with hostility. Even men that are genuinely confused and seek advice, are autistic, or are frustrated from trying are met with the same treatment.

The comments range somewhere from:

  • "another whiny man who plays the victim card"
  • "we don't need to hear your pity party, you incel!"
  • "Leave women alone! You're not entitled to sex!"
  • "It's probably because of your bad personality or your tendency to blame women."
  • "You need therapy, honey."

They also may call him a creep that harasses women, and then the person reasonably gets defensive. Then, all of a sudden he is accused of a bunch of creepy behaviors because they associate him with actually problematic individuals. They don't get sound advice, emotional support, a different perspective, and told a different way to approach things. Most of the comments (particularly from angry women js) accuse them of being a bad person off the bat.

Where is the empathy for men?
