Yes, the Betas are a dying breed , not because men don't want committnent or don't enjoy LTR's, but because of the way the modern day Beta will be getting an Alpha Chad's leftovers. If a Beta could be a Beta to a woman who didn't casually sleep around, then at least he could play the Beta role with a little bit of dignity. But as it stands now, men are waking up. We have been saying it ladies.....

We have been saying this. We have been letting the women know that THAT PHRASE is to be taken heed of, and is NOT GOING ANYWHERE, because NO self respecting man would be ok with that. But every time that is brought up, the women deflect to meaningless arguments to change the subject ("you're comparing women to purchasable items! Reeee!"). Or hamster goes into overdrive trying to justify that behavior as normal or to be expected or no big deal.... Or accusing the men of having the issue (insecurity). Or even trying to spin it in an attempt to fool us into thinking we are really the "winners in the end" and do get the best deal..... No. The men aren't buying it. They're not having it. They've woken up. No self respecting man pays more for what another man got for free. So I'll say it again so ladies can take heed of this important, life changing phrase:

"Why pay full price for what Chad got for free?"

Hell no! You can count me out. No man with any self respect would. So it's up to the men not to tolerate this behavior, so that they can correct the women's behavior (in general) just as would be necessary if women needed to correct something men were doing that was outrageous.

That is definitely not what I see or what I think most people see. It's probably cultural. A lot of men are "romantics."

Besides from what I understand the terminology is not about commitment related to age. If any man is fucking around he's an "alpha" and a guy who can't is a "beta"

Given the costs (especially cumulative) of a lower middle class marriage level relationship (low ball estimate assuming 1 child for the couple is somewhere in the ballpark of close to $6 million*, and if it's a male marrying a working class single mother it is very likely that he has to pay the vast majority of that sum) and job insecurity (it is unlikely for people these days to work at the same place or even industry for decades) means that commitment is simply a luxury that most men cannot afford. Also not note that all this costs guarantees nothing, not sex (not gonna go in detail of that can of worms), not retirement insurance (kids are no longer considered to be retirement plans), not even necessarily fulfilling social obligations (divorce means that you the male have failed in fulfilling the social expectation of maintaining a stable family unit), and the odds of achieving any of those goals are no longer high enough to justify the costs and taking on the risks.

LTR is a luxury that has been priced out of reach for most people.

*retirement plan for the couple: 2 X $1.73 million, cost of raising a child: $233,610 , cost of a child's college: $87,800 , cost of the mother of the child (after all, motherhood is one of the toughest job in the world that's being unpaid): 30 X $31,099 (this is heavily lowballing it since no one can place a value on priceless).

Right now, all I see is a huge mass of tryhard ““Alphas”” who want to fuck around in their 20s-30s. I don’t see the so called “Betas” anymore AT ALL.

Good that means that MGTOW is much more successful than believed, at least on the operational level, I don't see anything wrong with that.

Let me humble brag and act cool.

i was in Austin, TX a couple years ago for SXSW to attend some venues. The streets were packed as you can imagine, young people everywhere (of course), and after a dinner one day I went off to a pool hall for fun.

It was like a serious sausage fest of handsome college guys, to the point I had to check to make sure it wasn't a gay bar/night but lo, I was the only ugly fuck there.

I watched the groups of guys at the tables, playing various games, and now and then some pretty girls would come over to the flirty and they were having none of it. It was quite fascinating to watch, as various girls came over to try and do

"that chick thing"

they do when they're trying to get some attention, and I shit you not, not a single group of guys were interested.

Now I don't know sexual dynamics between the groups, I don't know if there were social reasons. Maybe everyone knew each other, I have no idea. But they were systematically ignoring all the fairly hot slutty girls coming over to them.

Not even the basic flirting you would normally see. Not a sort of casual "hey how're you" type of thing.

Just cold ignoring them. Tables looked more annoyed at being interrupted.

Even gay guys would be friendly, but this was just indifferently ignoring their presence until they wandered away.

Absolutely fascinating.

That's the first time I saw any sort of IRL chilling effect on dating.

I guess you can't preach for 100 years how all men are violent rapists without seeing some effects from it.

So ladies, when you worship and believe all your feminist masters, and you do, there are some negatives to LARPing as boys. Boys don't want to play with you any more.

Because there are more choices than ever committing to someone is risky in these days no one wants to foot the bill for someone else fuck ups especially when those fuck up can run in the hundred of thousands of dollars. For guy's is it worth it especially when we data showing that divorce is at 50% rate divorce 70%divorces initiated by women and that 40-50% of births in the US are out of wedlock meaning you don't have to get married to have a kid that's why you are seeing a rise in co-parenting as a household unit instead of traditional nuclear family.

Men are trying hard to be alphas, but they don’t succeed because of how they look. Eventually they figure out where they actually stand and just settle into the beta role. It’s not necessarily outdated, it’s just people aren’t happy to do it anymore.

I don't know where you live or if you actually spend time with people in the real world but plenty of men want commitment lol. I'd say like 60% of men don't even have the choice for casual sex. Im in college and even i see guys post on social media about just wanting a girl that's down for them. and see them talk about not being able to find a girlfriend in person.

In 2020 both genders are going single, I have not seen anything to suggest more men are doing this than women.

IRL I see women do it more (which makes sense because being a single woman is much better than bring a single man)

When there is more awareness of this system, you have less willing beta men. The problem is sluts. You don't seem like one, but it's a prisoner's dilemma situation for men. If they are a beta, they could find a nice woman like you who only has sex in relationships, or they could just be getting sloppy seconds from an alpha. There's really no tried and true method to be able to tell so you're always dealing with Schrodinger's Slut. Men don't want to get sloppy seconds from an alpha and if they have to resort to doing so, they at least don't want to commit to those sloppy seconds.

And there is still betas, they are just a dying breed. Older folks, old enough to be our fathers or grandfathers. But there are still some out there. They are just becoming more rare.

I don't want to come insensitive, since I actually do have sympathy for women like you, there was another girl posting before with a somewhat similar story, I do believe that if you say straight out in the dating profile that you are sexually conservative and looking for someone similar that there will be men that will be interested, what I can't guarantee is if you find them attractive.

In a counter intuitive way the more attractive you are the harder it will be, because for average and below average men who are frozen out of the casual sex market your offer would be more attractive, for the above average ones it will be progressively less attractive.
