As an older gen Z (1995-1999) I feel as though I was truly a part of the last generation that got to experience the normal world. Around 2014-2015 there was this sensation I got that the world had suddenly shifted from having an overall positive outlook to heading towards a dystopian hell hole.

The internet slowly started becoming more monopolized, corporate and censored. And as this was happening, the younger gen Z were growing up attached to their smart phones instead of interacting with their peers.

Due to this most of their world views are entirely based off of everything they've read online. It's the first chronically online generation.

This new generation of men have the darkest outlook on life I've ever seen. On Tiktok I constantly see normal young guys use words like "mogging", "looksmaxing" and other incel words which were previously relegated to niche forums for losers.

A common factor I see is that there's absolutely no comradery between young men. They may hype each other up in their hate of women, but they ultimately also hate each other because they view the world through this extremely competitive lens to the point where they see all other men as competition.

Young women are of course affected by this current society as well. So how the hell do we solve the issues we're facing?

Ban dating apps. It's that simple. I'm not single, but from the statistics I've seen these apps are a net loss for society across the board for both men and women. More men are cut out of the dating pool and women are finding fewer and fewer men who want to settle down.

Just ban them so that we can start heading back towards the normal future. A direction we were going in before 2014.
