I've read the "cheeseburger" n-count argument framed a couple ways here. It goes something like this...

  1. A potential mate indulges in junk food frequently. For their adult life so far, they've been overweight. Referencing casual sex as "junk food."
  2. You meet them, they are no longer overweight because they stopped eating cheeseburgers, their favorite food. Referencing a woman who "gets off the CC" and looks for a stable mate.
  3. Poster asks "how likely is it, that she keeps the weight off and *never* eats another cheeseburger again?"

The point of the analogy is focusing on the proclivity of people to return to their preferred habits, whether or not they are healthy, the likelihood of that person maintain their new diet etc. Does a leopard change their spots etc.
