My brother regularly gets mistaken for Brad Pitt, is cheerful, friendly, does martial arts, likes women, lived in a tourist town and went out regularly. He racked up a huge partner count.

He no longer adds to it since he went to a wet t-shirt competition, took the winner home that night and now they're married with a couple of kids.

Attractiveness, a willingness to go to places where there are women who want sex, charisma, possibly (not necessarily) low standards, low inhibitions, and a disposition to more risky behavior (which correlates with more casual sex). I mean, it could be anything, but those are the most common traits that I would think explain it.

Note: I can't really say either way (sleeping around vs not) is better or worse, they are just different.

I think most men who have success getting women to sleep with them have pretty advanced social skills and they don't use scripts or set plays. I work with a man who has been rumored to sleep with a boat load of women and I believe it, he is very nice to everybody even the older women he has no interest in scoring with. He is s guy's guy without being overly macho and charming, he just generally likes people. Patients and families universally like him. I like him because he is very hard working and resourceful. Not my type at all but nice looking and I don't sex up people I supervise or work with. I work with other men who are just as attractive but they have grouchy personalities or they complain a lot. I doubt they are getting as much action as him.

Because they've got it going on? No one I know well, male or female, has slept with 100s of people. But the most sexually prolific guys I know are good-looking, confident, and open to casual sex. And perhaps most importantly - they LIKE women. Openly. They are clearly comfortable with women and enjoy their company.

They're not normal women, they're low quality.
The women are manipulated, they wouldn't normally.
Of course you'll find women who will have sex at [insert anywhere a red piller will meet a woman].

Of course, all of these completely negate the fact that if a red piller didn't have sex before trying red pill, that the "low quality" and "women at bars" theories lose all veracity.

In short, no, blue pillers have no coherent theory on why red pillers are successful, only a handful of rationalizations to hold intact their fragile world-views.

My guess is when people want to hook up for casual sex, physical attractiveness is all that really matters. Since TRP advocates lifting weights and improving yourself physically, they of course have a better chance of success with this. I'd say the negative aspects of TRP (like adapting the dark triad traits) matter a lot less to women in this regard because they only want a poke and that's all.

It's not that BP men are just all ugly basement dwellers, just on average, they aren't looking for casual hook ups, or at least they aren't as active in pursuing it as TRPers are. To me, it seems BP men are more interested in relationships, leading to less sex initially.

/u/pillburt, /u/astoldbyramsay, and /u/rp132 (as well as any other RP who wish to chime in), I would like to particularly request that you read through my post and give me your honest thoughts about it.

Here's a slightly different "blue pill" response to OP's question:

I think that some percentage of women ARE definitely attracted to the kind of behavior RP espouses. At the broadest level, many women are attracted to confident men. At a narrower level, I think there are plenty of women who are attracted to those some might call "assholes." By that, I mean the stereotypical RP man: Someone who makes it clear he isn't particularly attached, makes it clear he's desirable to other women, makes decisions without necessarily asking for her input, acts in a way that makes it clear he expects her to act submissive towards him.

I think that those traits are attractive to many women. I disagree with TRP on the percentages: I think TRP inflates the percentage of women who are attracted to those traits. My perception is that TRP holds that about 95% of women are attracted to that. My personal ballpark number is that it's closer to 65%, give or take... 20%. I'm not super confident in that number, but I am very sure that I think TRP's number ("AWALT," and yes I understand that AWALT is intended as a rule of thumb and not to mean literally 100%) is inflated. I ALSO think it's asinine that TRP insists that women who don't like those traits are lying or must be undesirable. This is, in my experience, blatantly untrue, although of course the plural of anecdotes is not data (a truth TRP would do well to embrace with a little more sincerity).

I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with men acting that way (either because it's their personality or because they're doing it deliberately to get attention from women). I don't think that women who sleep with men who act that way are being "duped" or that the man is harming them. I don't think sex harms women, so as long as the man in question isn't making AND THEN BREAKING agreements with the woman (e.g. agreeing to exclusivity and then sleeping with others, or agreeing to use condoms with all other partners and then barebacking it with a ONS), I don't think anyone is being treated unjustly.

The animosity you observe towards TRP amongst BP / feminist / etc. men and women isn't always about the things you do to attract female attention. It's more that you are perceived as advocating (or at least act tolerantly towards) actions that cross the line into harming others. I can of course only speak for myself; if any other non-RP folks want to chime in with me here, feel free.

I don't see a goddamn thing wrong with acting like a Motorcycle Bad Boy (with or without motorcycle) to attract sex partners. I DO see something wrong with:

A: Belittling women who fuck such men as incapable of understanding or controlling their own desires.

B: Telling men that these strategies are the BEST way to find female sex partners. You have a lot of young men on TRP whose heads you fill with the notion that the strategies and personality traits you espouse are pretty much the ONLY way to have a satisfying sex life and not die unloved and poor because some bitch divorce-raped you. That, combined with your us-vs-them attitude (& derision & scorn & c.) not only towards feminists but also towards ANYONE who desires a more egalitarian mating strategy / relationship / whatever, means that some of the people you preach this stuff to are going to latch onto your philosophy like drowning men grabbing a life raft (I remember what it's like to be a sexually frustrated young man!) and never give themselves the chance to SERIOUSLY consider what they actually want in a relationship and realize that a different approach to relationships is just as valid as TRP's... Or realize it far too late in life.

You don't just offer a one-size approach to heterosexual relationships, you push it, and you push it HARD. Some of the people you push it onto are GOING to find out someday that that size doesn't fit them. Some of them are going to discover someday that they actually want more of a pilot/co-pilot relationship, or even that they want to be the first mate instead of the captain. And until they come to that realization, they're going to internalize the shame of being told, by you, that what they want on some level is not just (according to you, again) ineffective the vast majority of the time, but WRONG and SHAMEFUL.

And you are harming those young men.

tl;dr: I think some men sleep with hundreds of women because they look and act in ways that are attractive to a lot of women. I don't think you should tell everyone that Jesus wants them to be a dark triad or they're gonna burn in BetaBux hell.
