When we have these never ending debates about what average men and women do or don’t do in the dating cesspool, we use phrases that suggest that the average man is on the same level in every way as the average woman. But what if the average man is less attractive than the average woman? How would we even be able to measure such a thing? Does the current data already suggest this? I postulate that more women put more effort into their appearance than men. (Hetero couples of course.) And this, coupled with men’s generally lower standards, means that the averages of both genders are not in fact equal to each other.
