Thats silly.

Guys need to have a little situational awareness and need to respect hard boundaries with women, but most guys are way too timid with women imo.

Guys do need to realize that how far you can push boundaries is really related to their level of attractiveness, the difference between being viewed as charming as opposed to a creep can be as little as a bit of confidence and presence, some upper body muscle and a lower fat%, its not fair but it is reality.

The only reason I hate that comparison is because people are really comparing being locked up with a mix of possible murderers, rapists, and gang members to a woman being around a man. I do hate when people use the “twice the size” analogy too. The average woman is 5’4 and the average man is 5’9. I’ve seen people on askreddit claim that men on the street in the eyes of a woman is like a man looking at a fucking silverback gorilla.

Plus if the implication of that analogy is supposed to be prison rape, it doesn’t happen that often honestly, at least non consensually.

I think you can find a better comparison than tacitly accepting prison rape and it's a really bad practical example as real life is nothing like the atmosphere of prison and the social dynamics aren't remotely comparable.

I mean like, you're basically making a male rape joke, but at the same time there's alot more subtlety to like pressuring a girl into sex than Edward Norton's gangrape or whatever you want to say being treated like a guy twice your size in prison would treat you.

I wouldnt want any guy talking to me with any romantic intent at all, even in the most pleasant way possible. Women do, especially depending on the context and who is saying it. I will never be attracted to any guy, women are attracted to some guys.

I think for the average guy the advice should be between "never treat a woman the way you wouldn't want to be treated by a man twice your size in prison" and The "Brad Pitt test" aka "If the highest SMV guy in the world can get away with doing something, then its okay for you to try it too".

The issue is that since you're a man the woman has some level of attraction to you. I wouldn't feel super uncomfortable if a woman bigger and stronger than me was aggressively flirting because of hormones.
