He dropped out of med school to support me through cancer. He didn’t blink twice when the doctor said I wouldn’t be able to have kids. I can’t name all of the ways that he’s been there for me since he entered my life. He’s truly amazing. He’s the perfect person to me.

this is really random but something I REALLY appreciate from my partner lately is how he encourages me in my favorite hobby, painting. like as soon as you walk in our apartment door there’s about 14 paintings of mine right there, the first thing you see. for the first time, my art is proudly displayed. even though it’s just our little apartment, he encourages me to hang them up, he gives me his thoughts and genuine ideas when I ask… sometime he just watches me paint cuz he says he loves to see how much I love it. he just seems so proud of me and it means a whole lot
he makes a real effort to express how much I mean to him, even though it isn’t second nature to him. i’m a gusher, i love to tell him endlessly how much I love him, but I know he’s not always big on words. but sometimes he’ll surprise me with a post it love note on the mirror for me. i love that kinda thing
he’s very level headed and amazing at planning
i can always trust that whenever he speaks to me it comes from a place of love and good intentions, and he measures his words before he speaks. he never ever loses his cool or lashes out
he acts and carries himself in a way out of respect for me
he shows deep affection in the most randomly cute ways. he likes to hold my hand when he sleeps i love that and it makes me feel so wanted
he’s the type of person who really does check on his friends to make sure they’re safe and okay. he looks out for people.
he kills all the bugs and opens all the hard jars
he’s so smart and knowledgeable about things he’s passionate about! talking to him about certain things is like talking to a wikipedia page. i ask endless questions and he answers patiently
he values my sexual pleasure
i always feel physically and emotionally safe with him.
he always follows through on his promises. he’s dependable
he has a really great sense of humor, he’s very very funny
his beard 😍🥹 i see him standing across the room at a party and hes HOT!! hes soo my type physically and i love it

he is the funniest man i ever met, he makes me laugh so hard that i pee. he is very protective and brave, he does a ton of "man work" on our property, he helps me a lot, hes super protective and security minded in a way i cant be. he notices all kinds of things to be done that make our lives better. he makes the best hamburgers. he is darling in ways that touch my heart

I love how relaxed he is about life. It helps me remember not to take things so seriously and just slooooow down.

I love how passionate he is about his hobbies. He is always trying to learn more and improve his skill.

I love his sense of humor. He is so damn funny to me.

To me, he is just such a great person. It’s almost hard to put it into words. If soulmates are real - he’s without a doubt mine.

Yesterday I was sick and my husband insisted I spend the day in bed. Then he took the kids to a Sukkot brunch at our local synagogue (I am Jewish, he is not), and in the afternoon took them to the science museum so I could get more rest. He is a gem of a man who treats me like treasure. I am beyond lucky that he's so good to me. Because even if he wasn't I would still probably be with him lol because he's so handsome, physically imposing, funny, intelligent, artistic, conscientious and hardworking. He is always pushing himself towards excellence but still knows how to enjoy life. He's the best goddamn dinner date I've ever had. He takes his role as protector and provider of our family seriously and I just love him to goddam pieces.

The mental support he gives to me when I'm stressed out, anxious or otherways feeling shit about something. He's always there for me. I feel like even if literally everything in world would fall apart, he would be the one thing I can trust to be there. He's seen me as my weakest and my ugliest sides but accepts and loves me as I am. But also at the same time he brings out the best of me. He gives me strength and motivation to become best version of myself. He definitely deserves to get the best version of me.

He also has lot of personal traits I admire a lot in general. He's gentle and kind, but absolutely not spineless doormat, he's actually one of the bravest and mentally strongest person I've ever met. He never pushes anyone down, but rather lifts people up. He has amazing ideas, he's super creative, responsible and intelligent.

He is smart, funny, charming, very loyal to his close ones, disciplined and dedicated, passionate about his hobbies, very clean and organized, talented and supportive.

He also treats me like a queen, but I love him for what he is not for what he does to me.

He's kind. He's funny. He's always trying to improve himself, but he also is happy to accept a compliment.

He's a bit weird, the good kind.

He's not the most expressive person, but...I have a physical disability that means I cannot look after my feet as I cannot bend enough to cut my nails, etc. He does this without being asked, so my feet don't hurt from the way I walk.

And he's a great cook. He has a particular pasta meal that he makes, spending ages on it solely because he knows it's the kids favourite.
