For some they really could choose better.

For some, they need to quit earlier.

For some they need to put more effort in.

For some, they could just not date before they mature.

Settling for awful people just because they dont want to be alone. Then complain about them constantly. I agree with the advice a lot of men give "pick better". If a woman sees anything negative early on she shouldn't keep giving guys a chance. Having less empathy during dating is definitely the way to go. Dating isnt a charity.

A lot of women also dont know what they actually want. They have some random standards and hope they will be able to get what they want only to discover they dont actually want what they want. And they dont properly reflect on it.

Honestly, a lot of dating mistakes aren’t really gendered. Both men and women can suck at communicating, can cheat, have crappy boundaries, or just not appreciate their partner.

I’m guessing you want to hear about mistakes women tend to make more often than men, though. I’d say going after guys who aren’t emotionally available, letting anxiety mess with the relationship, not prioritizing sex in long-term relationships, and expecting a man to fully take care of them financially.
