Why do we think gender equality depends on how women want to act in their relationships with opposite gender partners?

It has come up a lot here that someone says that since women now have equal right they "have" to do 50/50. And if they dont want to do that its somehow abuse of equality or something like that. we don't limit other peoples right unless they have comited a crime.

Let's assume that group A has the same amount of priviliges as group B, but group B has way less responsibilities. Explain to me how then group A and group B are "equal" or how that's "fair"?

This is not what I think but this is what is already happening: voices to strip women from their citizens rights will get lounder and louder because "give them an inch and they'll take a mile" and "it is always bad, never enough" for big enough and loud enough minority of women.

Why what people decide to do in their personal lives and their conditions, requirements, preferences should decide wether they should have the same rights as you?

I had exactly this mentality, it resulted in me getting put into worse and worse position until I turned into almost korean-level antifeminist.

Oh come on, like the same thing isn't done with men. So many people argue against men having equal reproductive and parental choice rights on the grounds that they might "abandon children" (since a fetus is apparently a child after all when it's convenient for the woman) and never marry again.

I'm not sure what this is in reference to. If you are talking about what people do in their dating lives, I don't believe that anyone should have to do anything, legally or otherwise.

Maybe you are talking about something like registering for the draft, which I think women should also be required to do, although that doesn't mean they should be forced into combat roles.

However, related to the above is the idea that the same standards should be applied to women that are applied to men. Particularly when it comes to jobs like military, police, or firefighting, lowering standards for women (or other minorities) is not only dangerous to the woman, but to her teammates and the public at large that they serve. There's simply no excuse to put everyone in danger just for a handful of people to pat themselves on the back about how "progressive" they are.

What men are really asking is that women be held accountable for the same things that men are. Things like domestic violence and sexual assault are taken seriously when men are accused of them, but when women falsely accuse men there is no punishment for the consequences inflicted on the men. Women should not have the "right" to walk away freely after destroying a man's life. When Jussie Smollet was found to have staged the attack on him, the city of Chicago pursued him for damages incurred as a result of the police investigation into the "crimes" against him. The same thing should happen to women who choose to blackmail, threaten, or otherwise harm men simply because they can get away with it.

The only thing that I can recall seeing that showcases an example of this is the case of the girl in California who threatened city council members after getting worked up in her own fervor, and was immediately arrested and will likely face jail time. It's unfortunate because she was probably psychotic, but it's an example of women not realizing that with equality comes responsibility, in this case responsibility for your threats.

Your question is hard to understand. But let me try.

I think we just agree that women are abusing the systems and regulations in place to get excessive rights and avoid costs or responsibilities. Leading to relationships being worse overall.

Laws and expectations need to change to avoid this clear abuse.

Easy if everything is about equality but the demand of women both in relationship in work spaces and in laws courts and jail time push more responsibility on men over women.

And there so much excuses being made for womens behaviors. But any thing a men does seen as malicious Or wrong

Where does the actual equality come in?

When people make equal pay. But the men still have to pay for dates have to carry much more responsibility. Women can act and fk like men but the actual men have to carry more responsibility on every level of society.

So most aspects of society women get treated like children when it comes to accountability and responsibility. So when every level of society is that.

Ofcourse it matter a whole lot more how women react. Cause how lopsided accountability and responsibility is there very few actual worthy partnership women around. While all the while screaming equality equality all the time. Is it even weird it is like this.

The more excuses for one sides bad behaviors are made the more likely the other side find more and more just not worth dealing with or just unattractive personally wise
