Recently I have written some deliberately provocative posts, designed to higlight that bloopers can be just as prejudiced and bigoted as terpers. Well I have learned that whilst this is entertaining and why many of us are here (to have a vigorous debate about contentious issues), it is easy to get nasty and personal. I do it, people do it to me, we do it to each other.

So rather than be a hypocrite I will try and write more centrist material. I will also try and refrain from being too personal or passionate when defending my views. So this post is an attempt to inject some harmony.

It is really obvious to all of us that gender issues and life itself is a spectrum, never black and white. Neither TRP, blue pill, or any other pill has all the correct answers. This is obvious, sexual strategy differs for straight men/women, homosexuals, people of different age and social groups, etc, etc. So no-one can own all of the answers. Someone who wants to marry and have kids will not be well served by going to the red pill. A college guy who wants to get laid will not be well served by going to the blue pill.

If the purple pill begins to transform into a centrist repository where we begin to have some consensus on certain issues, it may well gain a very large audience. Imagine a place where anyone could come to, look up their question and find some suggestions which are helpful too them. Depending on their personality or needs. They can try things out and see what works for them. They can upvote archived posts on here and eventually we will see some trends and further confirmation of various theories on sexual/ relationship strategies.

What does everyone think of the idea? We could try and find some middle ground posts which most people agree are more or less true (even if said truths are painful). Maybe some long term PPD members could suggest some categories or re-post some archived stuff which wqs very popular. My suggestions for some category for advice posts would be: Tips for straight young men, tips for straight young women, tips for married people, tips for introverts, tips for self improvement (guys/girls/both), dating advice etc.

Now I now we are going to have two different views much of the time. Terpers will say - work out, act alpha. Bloopers will say - get to know each other, build a relationship on trust. Maybe there is a middle ground, for example, surely both sides would agree that being in your best shape and dressing well really improves your chances in the dating market. Both would agree that addiction is not good. Both would agree that holding frame always eliminates any chance of anger or abusive behaviour if strictly adhered to (holding frame means you cannot lose your temper under ANY circumstances). Most of us here are not 100% red or blue. We are the most centrist sub on this topic. Maybe we can have a new direction where we look for some consensus rather than trying to pick arguments (yes I have been guilty of this many times, I am trying something new).

Any thoughts?
