It's in Swedish. But a woman accidentally sent the equivalent of $90 to a 15 year old girl. Using the service Swish (most common way to quickly transfer money in Sweden) you type the phone number of the recipient, their name show up and you accept.

In this case the woman did not verify that she was sending money to the right person, but accepted the transfer. She realized her mistake and demanded her money back. The 15 year old girl claims she thought she was getting scammed and didn't dare send the money back, so she kept the money.

The 15 year old girl was sentenced in court of criminal conversion and had to pay a fine.

It did not matter that the woman verified the transfer of money. She did have the intent of sending the money to the 15 year old and thus the 15 year old had no right to keep the money, committing a crime by not sending it back.

This is Swedish law, and as I said previously, I don't know anything about US law.
