Without being too crass, she probably saw this other dude and thought to herself "I would hit that" and then what follows is just her rationalization: things aren't going well for me, this relationship has not been going anywhere, I need to work on me and get a change of scenery etc.

But it all boils down to wanting to bone the skater boy. For some reason dick lust sparks identity crisis. For me, if I see a hot chick I can admit honestly to myself, I would face fuck her ass and not need to "find myself". But I think for them the entire thought of admitting this needs to be placated with bullshit to make it acceptable.

My wife did the same thing to me. All of a sudden our relationship has been terrible for years (weird we were fucking passionately, raising our 1 year old, travelling, taking thousands of smiling pictures), she has lost her, she needs time to "find herself" etc. All of this has a name: Jesse.

She is dickhard for a guy at work. They can scream about self identity and soul searching all they want, but if the end result is dick, its about dick. The End. The rest is just a way of absolving guilt.

We have a family friend that is right now in a similar situation.

She's maybe a 6/10. Not very bright. For example, a couple weeks ago she almost ran a red light and instead of just running it she SLAMMED on her breaks in the middle of the intersection, came to a complete stop, and just stayed there until the light was green.

She doesn't have an education. Isn't pursuing one. Lives at home with her parent still. She literally lives in a closet. It's a slightly bigger walk in closet but that's it.. she lives in a fucking closet.

She's religious. Won't sleep with anyone until she's married.

Her BF has a fucking job. Works hard. Has his own fucking apartment. For SOME reason he puts up with this bullshit.

He's an atheist. She wants to dump him because he's an atheist.

Meanwhile if she pulled her head out of her ass she would realize he's WAY out of her league.

I'm going to call him up and give him a dose of Red Pill and tell him he should dump her.

Not being totally on topic, but I feel that I really missed out on a lot of knowledge and experience by not having a sister.

It seems that guys with sisters can get a background view and understanding of how women really are. Also when you have a sister one just gets used to having girls around.

if it wasn't for my little sister I probably wouldn't have a ton of faith left that AWALT is just a meme but I know it for a fact it is: she had the same bf for 3 years through HS. he was a nice, harmless kid, and the town was super small if she was cheating on him or somethin I would've heared. she went to one of the best business schools, studied her ass off, got a 4.0, graduated, and is making 6 figures while working 12 hour days in investment banking. at 22.

she is x10 smarter, more goal oriented, driven, successful, accomplished etc than 99% of the armchair psychologists here. I do believe there is some good advice here, but actually believing all, or even most, of any race, religion, gender, whatever think and act the same speaks volumes about your own intelligence
